Duties & Responsibilities: Officially assigned as Consultant Quantity Surveyor
Checking plans, drawing and quantities for accuracy of calculation of all items project.
Check Quantities for Earthworks (cut and Fill) including coarse material ( sub-grade,
ABC, BBC and BWC), and Quantities of Concrete and steel of RCBC, Bridges( super and Sub-structure) as per plan and drawings.
Evaluation of Contract Agreement / Contract Conditions regarding time duration.
Check and approve Contractor’s Monthly Payment Application for Billing.
Review, check and recommend Contractor’s quantities Claims.
Coordinate to project site team regarding the progress of work or accomplishment subject for monthly report.
Check and approved Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) of the contractor.
Report to Resident Engineer related to all information of the project regarding BOQ and Updated quantities.
Checking/monitoring Progress Reports for the whole project.
Office documentation, assist the resident engineer regarding the obtain work of contractors.
Coordinate with staff to achieve work and submit daily report to Resident Engineer
Checking/monitoring Progress Reports for the whole project.
Check and approved Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) of the contractor.
Office documentation, record daily works done in the site for monthly report to the client.
Assist the resident engineer regarding the obtain work of contractors, using bar chart.
Checked recalculation of the whole project subject for extension of time.
EXTERNAL WORK EXECUTED IN SITE:
-Structural work in bridge. Checking steel for sub structure and super structure as per plan and specification.
-Structural work in Box Culverts. Checking steel and concreting
-Structural work for pipe culverts including manhole, check execution of work according to plan and specification.
-Structural work for NJB for loops and rams, check execution of work according to plan and specification.
-Structural work in Retaining walls, check steel bars according to bar bending schedule, and form works according
to plan and specification.
-SURVEYING WORK, check execution of work in foundation of bridge structures, Abutments, Columns,
crosshead, and Retaining walls in abutment
-Surveying work, checking execution of works of earthworks, aggregates( sub grades, abc, bbc and bwc) as per
designed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Officially assigned in supervision work in LIBYAN RAIL WAY, Tripoli Libra. Work as authorized Quantity surveyor for Libyan railway projects. Executed multi-tasking in Civil and Structural works
Check and approved contractor quantities as per drawing.
Evaluate variation and order subject for billing of the contractor.
Check and approved Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) of the contractor as per site done.
Checking Progress Reports of earthworks (aggregates) and structural work (concrete, steel) as monthly billing
back-up reviewed Bill of Quantity (B.O.Q) .
Assist the resident engineer regarding the obtain work of contractors, using bar chart
and daily records.
Office documentation, record daily works done in the site for monthly report to the client
Prepare monthly report as per site done.
QA/STRUCTURAL CIVIL WORKS
-Quality inspection of Earthworks, materials and quality testing from foundation to top structure of the
railroad and Field Density Test for compaction (FDT).
-Inspection for quality and safety of work in site.
-Batch plant inspection, calibration and checking mixed design prior for concrete mixing.
-Check execution of work in concrete for structures of the bridge culvert.
-Check steel and form works for box culverts.
Duties as Quantity Surveyor:
Prepare cost estimate, quantities for different phases of the project (earthworks, steel bar bending, concrete and other structure in roads / bridges.
Deal with company consultant subject for BOQ, due to IPC, and technical works regarding plans and designs (blueprint),
Prepare consolidated BOQ in the format required by the client, consultant and sub-contractors to support the IPC.
Prepare progress report of earthworks (aggregates) and structural work (concrete steel) to support monthly billing.
Examine, control and evaluate sub-contractors invoices and ensure financial accountability.
Responsible for BOQ of manpower for both main and sub-contractors monthly payments.
Attend monthly meeting at the Consultant Site Office as Contractor Representative.
Duties as Technical Engineer:
Responsible for any technical works in preparing design, plans, and drawings as per specification.
Making schedule form of work, check and visualize the designs, plans and drawings of any structure of road works in order to minimize correction before submitting to the consultant for approval in site construction.
Prepare new plans and design culverts, retaining walls.
Revise drawings for structural aspect as per consultant request (As-Built).
In charge in preparing plans and drawings upon calculation showing the Private Land Property which is obstructed due to Road Right Of Way (RROW) of the project.
Give technical instructions to AutoCAD Operators in preparing plans and drawings including As-Built.
Duties & Responsibilities;
Inspection for Site of Different Government Provincial Road Projects in contractor side pertaining to the constructions aspect due to BOQ.
Inspect the construction materials delivered by suppliers if they meet the required items.
Supervised manpower work for contractors of material required as per BOQ.
Prepare structural drawings, designs and plans for bridges and culverts using Auto Cad Software.
Quantity estimation for earthworks, bridges, pipes and box culverts. (Quantity Take-Off).
Establish the procedures for implementation of control monitoring and payments to due contractors.
Prepare weekly and monthly accomplishment report subject for payment certificate to the contractors.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress report for the Project Engineer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assigned to oversee and supervise all construction activities of the project.
Estimate BOQ, record all operational matters, conduct trade test to workers before hiring.
Ensure overall project safety inclusive of manpower.
Carry-out Estimating Works, Drafting (Planning & Design), Surveying works at the Technical Office.
