I have been employed as an English teacher and assistant teacher at Colegio San Agustin in Mallorca Spain for six years. I teach English and assist in other classes from 3 to 12 years of age. I also prepare older and adult students for the Cambridge English Exam.
In my role as an English teacher I create lesson plans, assess the progress of students, and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills. My lesson plans include reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
In my role as a teacher, I am motivated to inspire the pupils to do their best. I am also patient with students that have learning disabilities. I modify materials to their special needs. I am adaptable and ready assist wherever needed. A very important aspect of a teacher is to create a positive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and creativity.
I am a worthy role model to students by being diligent, having integrity, and professional conduct.
I have lived in five different countries for education or work. Each of these countries has expanded my knowledge of history, culture, and language. Living abroad has increased my confidence, adaptability, and given me a global mindset.
