After I received my professional engineer license from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development in Iran, I had this chance to enhance my leadership skills for constructing a 4-story building. In this project, coordination and cooperation among different sectors in all project phases was another experience for me. I am also responsible for completing assigned projects with the required level of quality, on schedule, and on budget.
As a research and development specialist my primary role is to collaborate with Cabloor team in studying and analyzing different method to design a raised floor system for indoor with the lowest height and highest performance to manage cables, wires and underfloor air for offices and server rooms. Due to the fact that Cabloor raised floor system price per square meter was too high with carpet tile or vinyl tile, my secondary role as a director of research and development team was to find another cost effective solution like using ceramic tile to decrease the total cost of the system. Thus, after six month searching and practicing numerous ways, now we can use dry laying tile structure as an innovative solution.
Research and Development Specialist
As an energy analyst, my primary role was to enhance the energy performance, thermal comfort, and indoor air quality of buildings. I worked closely with engineers and project managers to optimize building components and material selection so that the buildings they are designed are energy-efficient, comfortable, and meet the required sustainability standards.
During my M.A., I decided to start a team with my creative and elite classmates. We have designed and renovated more than 10 facades, houses, villas, and some urban projects such as designing three parks and recreational centers for Hamedan and Nahavand Municipalities, and also we participated in some national and international competitions.
During my master I worked on my thesis titled “Air Conditioning & Dust Absorbing Bionic Wall”; It is focused on climate-resilient buildings and researching on how we can provide thermal comfort and living conditions for the residents of hot and dry climates with low energy consumption by designing a bio-inspired passive cooling system. It should be noted that, this project led to a patent in Iran and at the same time published in Patentscope.
