Sonographer with more than 9 years’ experienced in Sonography. PERFORMS GENERAL, OBSTETRIC, VASCULAR AND TVS GYNE/OB ULTRASOUND. Familiarity with the use of PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System) and HIS (hospital information systems
Carries out special and routine ultrasound examination unaided according to agreed policies and procedure.
Reading and writing ultrasound report.
Participate in OB/GYN department rota, which include working single handed on on-call.
Alternately assigned in ER and OB/GYN ward/OPD.
Participate in TQM system improvement.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of my knowledge, skill and abilities by the chief of services.
Technical assistant to the radiologist.
Gives proper preparation to the patient so that part to be examined must be visualized.
ULTRASOUND :
OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY:
Antenatal and postnatal ultrasound
High-Risk pregnancy
Fetal anomaly
Biophysical profile
Umbilical doppler
Pelvic scan (gynaecology)
SPECIAL PROCEDURE:
Whole Abdomen ultrasound
Breast, Thyroid Gland, Neck, Adrenal Glands, Quantifying Ascites, Soft Tissue Organs, Superficial Lymph Nodes
Assist in interventional examinations ( Liver Biopsy, Renal Biopsy, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Operating Room Procedure Assessment)
X-RAY:
Performed X-ray with non-contrast procedure using conventional x-ray machine.
MAMMOGRAM:
Performed Mammogram exam using automatic machines
