• Design, develop and delivery of the:
i. Operations Annual Technical Training Plan,
ii. Technical Training Catalogue and
iii. Annual Training Calendar
• Liaise with OPS Asset Managers and Heads (Operation & Maintenance) to assess Training Needs and Training Requirements
• Analyze, evaluate and report all training & development statistics to ensure learning effectiveness
• Work with a team of in-house SME to design and deliver training solutions resulting in significant amount of cost savings from the Training Budget.
• Coordinates, assess and liaise with external training providers and industry partners for outsourced training and learning programs
• Supports and deliver specific organizational based learning programs such as:
i. the First Line Supervisor Development Roadmap and the
ii. English Language proficiency program for Qatari nationals.
• Create, Plan and Schedule trainings utilizing SAP SuccessFactors (LMS) Learning Management System.
• Provide monthly training completion and YTD status report, highlighting “no show” and look ahead plans.
• Design, develop and delivery of the Operations Annual Technical Training Plan

• Supervises, directs and controls the functions and activities of the Plant training team (Production and Maintenance Trainers) within Operational Capability & Competence section.
• Design, develop & direct the implementation of all aspects of ORYX GTL’s operational learning, namely;
i. Operational Competence Framework,
ii. Operation Department Career pathways,
iii. Workplace Learning roadmap (plant specific units & HSE).
• Supervise, develops and customized the vocational education and training programme (TPP/TAFE) and maintain the quality of its associated assessment regime through:
i. Bespoke Training Material Development
ii. Enhanced Practical Assessment criteria and demonstration
iii. WPL TAFE Assessor for Qatari nationals in their TPP Program
Commissioning and Start up of the first large scale GTL complex in the world. Worked as DCS Operator during this time.
Training and Development
• Coaches and assess the Junior Process Technicians (Singaporean Nationals) in both Technical and Practical activities as per Training plan.
• Conducted Training and Assessment for Senior Process Technicians on Cross Training posts.
• Design and develop a Training Module (Safety and Technical) for use as Shift personnel refresher training.
Responsible for the continuous operation of the Styrene Monomer Plant as DCS Technician and in Acting capacity of Assistant Shift Superintendent.
Training and Development
• Organized, develop training materials and trained new DCS and Field operators
• Provided an instructor led training for Saudi Nationals to become Competent Field Operators
• Supervises the activities of field and DCS operators in the continuous and safe
operation of the following units using YOKOGAWA Centum CS.
• Supervises the tankfarm activities and ensuring that raw materials and
finished product movements are done accordingly.
• Performs troubleshooting and technical problem solving activities to minimize
recurrence of plant downtime in all facilities.
• Involve with the Day Supervisor in writing, updating procedures and
preparation of Operating Instructions.
Works as a Process Operator for the following section;
a)Hydrogen plant (Catalytic Steam Reforming Process)
b)Reciprocating Compressor section and
c)Reaction (Esterification) unit.
> Responsible for the smooth flow of clean and tempered stocks into the Milling
system and makes corrective actions to prevent any upset in the unit
