-Reporting to the owners of the business directly
-Day to day management of the business activities of the Group in coordination with the owners and department managers
- Setting up Group’s financial strategy including periodic budgets and business plans
- Administration of the Group’s accounting system, verifying the accounting is in line with IFRS
- Setting up the reporting system for the Owners, monthly review of MIS and other reports
- Regular analysis the Group’s performance in line with the overall market
- Review Group’s investments, both controlling and minority, perform periodic valuations internally or externally, and advising owners on acquisition/disposal of investments
- Review Group’s agencies and business, and advising owners to continue/discontinue with the agencies
- Business development via identifying potential investment opportunities and negotiations for new agencies
- Reviewing the Group structure, recommending changes in the structure to the Owners, appointing consultants and finishing up with the changes, once approved.
- Managing treasury and associated risk, regularly monitoring the exchange rates and identifying opportunities to reduce the exchange risks
- Managing corporate debt, regular negotiations with banks for better financing terms
- Review and approval of credit limits for the customers
- Periodic financial reporting of the Company and all subsidiaries to the Board and required authorities, ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and regulatory obligations including reporting/filing with Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) guidelines.
- Coordinating with external auditors and consultants of the Group
- Provide professional guidance and training to staff and the management
- Review the internal audit reports for the Group, taking corrective actions with the department manager and suggest changes to the process and procedures where required
- Other functions include: negotiating supports from the principals for the agencies, providing support to the Owners/department managers for identifying possible changes in current business structure, regularly monitoring the costs and identifying redundant costs.

Finance department:
-Setting up company’s budgets and business plans
- Review reports/MIS to analyze the Company’s performance
- Assisting management in managing corporate debt and equity financing
- Assisting management of financial documentation (including information required by banks)
- Administration and development of the Company’s accounting system
-Responsible for periodic financial reporting of the Company and all subsidiaries to Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE), ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and regulatory obligations including reporting/filing with Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and Capital Market Authority (CMA) guidelines.
- Coordinating with external and internal auditors of the Group
- Financial and operational analysis of investee companies and reporting directly to CEO
- Developing business plans for the subsidiaries and defining KPI’s for all investee companies
- Periodic reporting to Management and Board of Directors of the company, providing performance analysis of investee companies against KPI’s and budgets, changes in business structures, operational updates etc.
- Valuation, feasibility studies, market studies, industry analysis, competitor analysis, company analysis and impairment analysis of investee companies

New investments:
- Handling preliminary analysis of investment opportunities including risk and SWOT analysis
- Reviewing valuation models and due diligence reports, and Coordinating with consultants
- Supporting investment teams by assigning function resource
