• Design and Planning: Develop irrigation and landscape design plans based on site assessments, client requirements, and environmental considerations.

• Conduct comprehensive site evaluations to assess environmental conditions, soil composition, and water availability for irrigation planning and landscape design.
• Develop integrated landscape designs that harmonize with natural surroundings while incorporating efficient irrigation systems to support plant health and vitality.
• Design and specify irrigation components, such as pipes, valves, controllers, and drip systems, ensuring compatibility with landscape features and water conservation goals.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for landscape projects, including irrigation layouts, plant selections, and hardscape elements.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to oversee the installation of irrigation systems and landscaping elements, ensuring adherence to design plans and quality standards.
• Implement sustainable design practices, such as rainwater harvesting, soil conservation, and native plant selection, to minimize environmental impact and enhance ecosystem resilience.
• Develop irrigation schedules and programming to optimize water efficiency and plant growth, utilizing smart technologies and sensors where applicable.
• Conduct regular site inspections and performance evaluations of irrigation systems, identifying opportunities for improvements in water management and system efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel and clients on proper irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture, irrigation design, and water management to inform design decisions and project outcomes.
Provide required technical support and supervision for implementation of drip irrigation/sprinkler irrigation installation at farmers’ fields in project districts and extending assistance to OFWM staff/Regional Manager in this regard.
• Provision of layout of the approved design to the technicians and supervision of execution of civil work and installation of each unit as per SOP’s of the project.
• Check for quality of the work done by Field Technicians materials purchased by the firm as per design specifications, conformity with specified standards and quantities as per approved by Consultants, standards and specifications for High Efficiency Irrigation Systems regarding drip irrigation, bubbler and sprinkler irrigation system.
• To get approval of the prepared design from Consultant/Third Party and final commissioning of the executed site as per design.
• To prepare and submit ICR’s on completion of relevant milestones (1ston verification of procured material on farmer site; while 2ndon installation and successful commissioning of the site; and 3rdon final report of completion of advisory services and repair and maintenance tenure).
• Regular reporting of the progress (in soft and hard form) of drip irrigation installation (developed or any failure) through Regional Manager to the General Manager.
• Technical guidance to Field Technicians regarding installation, operation & maintenance of the High Efficiency Irrigation Systems (HIES).
• Collection of GPS data of each site and its processing to make polygons in GIS form (kml files or equivalent format).
• Preparation of plans, reports, daily, weekly, monthly, annual and maintain data base on daily basis.
