• Responsible for Migration of Enterprise Customers and Triple Play services for residential customers to Huawei GPON network structures. Migrations included FTTB and FTTH scenarios.
• Responsible for the configuration and integration of OLTs, MDUs, and ONTs for customer services.
• Raising Change requests and RFC at Huawei Icare and follow up with GTAC teams.
• Handling of customer trouble tickets related to the services while migration.
• Coordination with NOC/ monitoring team related to device alarms and clearance of alarms.
• Migrating Enterprise Customers from Cisco Platform to Huawei GPON
• Responsible for Monitoring and troubleshooting the following network resources and devices.:- Cisco C7K, C4K, C3K Series and ME-3400 Series Switches, Huawei S9K Series, S33k Series, S23k Series Switches.
• Preparation and verification of the customer data collected from the live network devices and preparation of the accurate data required for the migration of the services.
• Planning and coordination with the Du AAA team and Netboss teams for the profile and device additions on the network and monitoring tools.
• Preparation of routing plan /table for the MDUs and assigning IP addresses for the MDUs.
• Coordination with the call centre team for the verification of customer services after migration.
• Coordination with the field engineers for the migration activity and device installation/ old device shut down.
• Post migration network verification is also done and records kept.
• Coordination with the Subcons for the netcracker circuit creation based on the migration report. Verifying / correcting if any issues found.
• Coordination with Subcons for ISP and OSP surveys and design the ISPs
• Successfully completed migration at areas of Discovery Gardens, Al Quoz, International City, Business bay, Burj Dubai, DIFC, JBR, locations.
Worked in Network Operations Tier 1 team for consumer as a network engineer.
Worked with different Cisco and Huawei switches, and devices like IPD, ASR, 3COM, MSAN, GPON and their configurations.
Troubleshooting all kinds of configuration errors related to above mentioned devices.
Providing network support for fixed home services which include internet, Landline and IPTV.
Worked as a Field Engineer for the enterprise Provisioning team and took care of the zone-4 area of entire Dubai.
Provisioning of services from switches of Cisco, Huawei and devices like IPD, ASR, MSAN etc.
Provisioning of trunk /analog lines, internet, Access Ports, BRI, MPLS etc for the enterprise customers.
