1. Planning & Budgeting for Fleet & Freight Logistics Needs.
2. Review of requisitions / Float enquiries & collect quotes from approved vendors / Issue of purchase orders / supply work order forms.
3. Follow up on Fleet & Freight deliveries.
4. Review of all international purchase orders placed by Arab Games 2011.
5. Advise Procurement departments on the type of inco-terms to use on purchase orders.
6. Coordination of all international shipment with suppliers with regard to modes of freight.
7. Ensure proper documents are handed over to the Customs & Clearance departments.
8. Informing FA(s) and Customs & Clearance department on arrival of goods at port.
9. Approve fleet schedule based on requirements submitted by internal departments.
10. Negotiate with fleet providers.
11. Ensuring rental of heavy equipments and vehicles at the right time, right place and the right cost.
12. Solution Provider to all departments related to Freight & Fleet.
13. Pro-activeness with local clearance agent for timely clearance and delivery.
14. Informing FA(s) on availability of heavy transport.
15. Pro-active coordination with local logistics provider.
16. Handling crises in a efficient manner.
17. Complying with company policies and procedures related to transportation.
18. Develop favorable contract agreements with vendors and resolve delivery and billing problems.
19. Commercial Negotiation of Long Term and Short Term Delivery Items with regard to price, delivery schedules and quantities etc on behalf of the clients.
20. Generation of reports on each assignments / shipment.
21. Approval of invoices based on jobs completed.
22. Submission of final report.

13. Commercial Negotiation of Long Term and Short Term Delivery Items and ensuring proper follow up based on requirement schedule with suppliers with regard to price, delivery schedules and quantities etc on behalf of the clients.
14. Ensuring Red Alert situations are managed based on client's expectation and within company policies.
15. Ensuring the stock level is maintained so as to avoid delays.
16. Rental and subleasing of heavy equipments & heavy transport vehicles for deliveries.
17. Ensuring the standard of material and deliveries match the Purchase Order.
18. Approval of Invoices based on deliveries of material to site and other terms and conditions.
