• Provide Support to estimation in technical feasibility study projects for static & package equipment’s.
• Provide Support to prepare MDS/MR/PR for Feed Project for static & package equipment’s having coordination with other disciplines like process, piping, civil, instrumentation, rotary, project.

Responsibility as a Junior Design Engineer
Study of mechanical data sheet & related specification required for design.
Split the requirement of design into various categories.
Perform step by step each activity of design.
Prepare design calculation as per mechanical data sheet & related specification by using PV Elite.
Take approval from senior on prepared design calculation.
After getting approval from senior prepare fabrication drawing as per design calculation.
Check fabrication drawing for fabrication feasibility by interacting with fabrication engineer or welding engineer or shop floor supervisor.
After getting internal approval from all related department submit the same to PMC / client approval.
Keeping follow-up with PMC / client to get final approval.
If any problem arises during actual fabrication then discuss with client / PMC to find solution to resolve problem.
Meanwhile prepare material requisition according to fabrication drawing.
Following project which I completed as a Junior Design Engineer
1. Pressure vessel & column Designed for ONGC Mangalore Aromatic Complex in which PMC is TEIL & end user is ONGC.
2. 1 No. API 650 Storage tank for ONGC Mangalore Refinery in which PMC is TEIL & end user is ONGC.
3. Pressure vessel for VVF Ltd.
4. Heat Exchanger for Alkly Amines Pvt Ltd.
5. Heat Exchanger for Saitech Associators.
Fit-up inspection of weld joints.
Planning and offering Non Destructive Testing activities for vessels.
Monitoring of Preheating/ Post heating / post weld heat treatment and electrode backing activities.
Working out raw material requirement by studying drawing.
Witness the Welding for establishing PQR for welding processes GTAW, SMAW.
Witness the stage wise inspection like Raw material identification, marking & cutting, fit-up, final weld visual, dimension check up etc
Inspection of joints fit up, alignment and dimensional accuracy as per drawing requirements
Preparing plan for fabrication of vessels.
Execution of production plan and controlling production activities.
Manpower planning including skilled & unskilled.
