Euro Executive Compensation:
Euro Executive Compensation is a web base application which used to collect executive remuneration details of European companies listed in UK, France, Italy, Germany, Russia and other European countries .
This is an in-house project for Morningstar Inc. This project maintains the database of Director/Officer compensation details. Each and every executive’s compensation details are managed in relation with fiscal year and company.
The application parses data from html and pdf files filed by the companies. Any new company added to the system will be integrated with Morningstar’s global company master through real time synchronization by web services.
Major modules of this application are “Executive Details”, “Director Remuneration”, “ESOP”, “LTIP”, “SAYE/SIP”, “Options and Grants”, “Committees” and “Bonus Remuneration”.

Biographical Insight:
Biographical Insight is an in-house project for Morningstar Inc. This project maintains the Career, Qualification and Personal information of executives. Each and every executive’s details are managed in relation with company. Extensive use of AJAX helped the application much user-friendly and makes Data Analyst more productive. XML database is used in this project to make data retrieval faster. Data Analyst will insert the executive details and data will be maintained in XML database. Secured web services are introduced to retrieve data without any dependency. Major modules of this application are Career Module and Qualification Module. Any new executive added to the system will be integrated with Morningstar’s global executive master through real time synchronization by web services. XSD’s are designed for the output generation purpose.

US Executive Compensation:
Executive Compensation is an in-house project for Morningstar Inc. This project maintains the database of Director/Officer Compensation details of public companies in United States and Canada. All the major indices are covered by this application. Each and every executive’s compensation details are managed in relation with fiscal year and company. Compensation details are parsed from the SEC file and Data Analyst will verify the data. Data has been migrated from CLIPPER database and the new system has increased analyst efficiency by 80%.
