Maintain accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts through proper transaction recording and reconciliation.
Prepare journal entries, including accruals and prepayments, in compliance with accounting standards.
Analyse and allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centre’s based on invoices and reports.
Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
Manage payments to vendors (B2C), suppliers (B2B), and contractors in accordance with company policies.
Validate and reconcile recorded sales transactions with received payments across various methods.
Generate financial reports for management and other departments.
Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT and corporate tax returns.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors during annual audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Maintain the General ledger and chart of accounts.
Establish & maintain supplier accounts and process supplier invoices on a timely basis and process payments for all accounts due.
Assist in the timely and accurate recordings of revenue, expenses, and balance sheet items in the general ledger for the subsidiary.
Perform weekly payments to Group & Non-Group company suppliers and employees.
Update the bank balance GL and reconcile regularly.
Controls and maintains payroll administration in coordination with HR Department.
Perform rolling cash forecasts and Making Monthly payment plans.
Assist in monthly closing activities.
Collating data and documents for monthly VAT returns

• Monitoring bookkeeping, a daily entry into books of accounts, posting in ledgers.
• Reconcile general ledger and Inter-companies accounts.
• Verify the accuracy of purchase orders and supplier invoices, Payable/Receivable Accounts, and prepare Reconciliation.
• Bank Reconciliation.
• Allocation of overhead and common expenses among the showrooms.
• Daily petty cash- Disburses petty cash by recording entries & verifying documents.
• Maintaining Account Receivable records, and preparing statements to enhance tracking of receivables.
• Credit card Reconciliation follow-up with the bank for unclear discrepancies.
• Preparation of cash disbursement book, schedule of expenses, and accrued expenses.
• Responsible for expense analysis and variance reporting to ensure budgetary control.
• Maintaining supporting documentation for all changes made to master data for auditing purposes.
• Prepare monthly reports as per the requirement of management.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports for the companies.
• Reconciliation of tax return and GL balances.
• Filing of the return with the taxation authority
• Organize and update the company’s tax database.
• General accounting for client business’ to be used in preparing income tax returns.
• Preparation of trial balances and related adjusting journal entries.

• Preparation of prepayment and accruals spreadsheets and entries.
• Maintain fixed asset register and make necessary depreciation entries.
• Performing trial balance and P&L analysis.
• Preparation of documents for Auditing.

• Represented the firm on a variety of audit assignments comprising Statutory Audits, and Internal audits of small & medium-sized companies.
• Preparation and maintain books of accounts.
• Data Entry in computer accounting packages tally ERP and manual.
• Debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliation.
• Preparations of value-added tax returns.
