Responsible for Maintenance & Reliability function at Largest Phenol Producing Complex in India with 200KTPA of Phenol and 120 KTPA Acetone capacity Plants Like Phenol, Cumene, Boiler, Utilities, DM, CT, Incinerator, Flare, Instrument and Plant air, Fire Water, Raw water, N2PSA, Tank farms, Bullets, ETP, Loading and Unloading bays etc.
Involved from Project stage in Equipment Selection, Stage Inspections at vendor places, Expedition, Model Reviews, Equipment Preservation, Construction & Erections, Pre-Commissioning, Pressure tests, Flushing, MTR, PSSRs, Commissioning, Streamlining and Stabilising the plants.
From Scratch to normal functioning of Maintenance & Reliability Function : Organisation of Plant Maintenance, Rotary and Static Reliability, Business SOP & SMPs, Predictive, Preventive Maintenance, Static Inspection Programs, Criticality Analysis, FMEA, RCA, Services Like Static and Rotary equipment Maintenance, Dynamic Balancing, PSV repair and Testing, Process Isolation Valves Repair and Testing, Fabrication, Welding, Cutting, Rigging, Equipment Overhauling, Torque Tightening, Online Sealing, High Pressure Water Cleaning, Non Metallic Material services for FRP, PP, HDPE, Scaffoldings, Machining, etc. Technical Evaluation, Performance Monitoring and Renewal process. Monitoring and directing team efforts to achieve best KPI with HSEF & Statutory compliance targets and dealing with Operation, Process, CTS, Procurement, Electrical, Instrument, Store, Vendors, OEM, HSEF, Top Management, HR, Training for: Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Improvements, Development etc.
Responsible for operation and maintenance of Workshop, catering maintenance services like Overhauling of rotary equipments, Pressure Safety Valves, Process Valves, Control Valves, Heat Exchangers, Lifting Tools and Hydraulic Tools, Machining and Welding requirements of Plant Maintenance to more than 15 plants for routine and shutdown jobs.
Directing the Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Quality Control and Assurance, Reliability Supports and Ensuring Compliance to Occupational Health, Safety, Quality standards in department and Proper Equipment History Record.
Develop objectives of team in line with organisational goals and monitor activities of department to safe, coast effective, qualitative accomplishment of same to enhance overall equipment reliability of plant equipments.
Performance monitoring, Training, Motivation, development of workshop manpower, and following HR Practices.
Develop new vendors, contractor for new equipments, maintenance service requirements, evaluate and monitor performance for routine and shutdown / turnaround requirements.

Refurbish rotary equipment like Pump, Turbines, Compressors, Blowers, Fan, Mechanical Seals, Process and Relief Valves
Create and develop QA checklists for rotating equipment / Process & Relief Valves in line with established guidelines ensuring documentation is maintained correctly
Ensure proper implementation of ongoing safety programs and audits as per management directive
Direct and oversee all mechanical maintenance activities /schedules in the plant; plan and execute all shutdown, breakdown and preventive, predictive, proactive maintenance activities and shift activates
Maintain records of mechanical maintenance like history in system, actions details, log books, AMC records, etc.
Prepare shutdown procedures as required and ensure adequate availability of spares, tools and equipment
Establish daily equipment requests for the site to be in compliance with the standards of various contracts & services
Communicate with internal departments for complete project planning; lead various cost cutting projects to keep the operating expenses under check at all times
Conduct regular meetings with the Contractors site personnel, Reliability Engineering Department and Planning on equipment usage, environmental & other necessary issues, etc.
Resolve all issues / concerns raised by site personnel and Consultants, Clients and Vendors concerned with the project
Control and monitor monthly progress and site activities ensuring projects are accomplished as per schedules / plans and contract closure formalities

Major T & I of BAPCO’s history which is HUB 2 T&I 2014 - Worked right from planning stage through pre-shut down activities, shut down activities and provided support till the startup of world scale Refinery units LSDP, 2HDU, 4A CDU, KMU, 5CDU; handled shut down activities at mechanical shops effectively and safely to complete repair and testing for Relief Valves and Process valves on time ( Include Scope preparation, Work lists, Resource Planning and Procurements, Manpower & Contracts, PPE and HSE Compliance, Planning, Scheduling, Allocation, Executions and Monitoring, Audits, MIS Reporting and Closers)
FCCU T & I 2013 - Major maintenance activities of FCCU, GCU, KRU & VBU units
T & I 2012 - Major maintenance of VBU, 1&2 CDU, LPG and NRC complex

Entrusted as Site In-charge to liaise with all Plants, Centralized Engineering, Reliability & Rotary Group, Stores, Procurement, Logistics and Government agencies
•Worked in the Marketing division as Permanent Representative of the company at RIL Jamnagar Refinery for commissioning of pumps and resolving teething problems in mechanical seals
•Handled all service activities including troubleshooting, failure analysis, co-ordinating service & sales activities to increase reliability of mechanical seals during & after commissioning of the refinery
Worked in the Precision Equipment Cell of Centralized Maintenance Shop and handled all activities related to overhauling, preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance, spare planning and procurement of all equipment mentioned below
•Handled condition monitoring of various equipment like gearbox, centrifugal pumps, mechanical seals, air compressors (Reciprocating: Khosla & IR), compressors of refrigeration systems, HVAC plants and ammonia chillers plants (Voltas, Kirloskar), liquid ring vacuum pumps & compressors (L&T, SLM Maneklal), twin lobe blowers (Roots, SLM Maneklal, L&T), centrifuges, Agitators
