Achievements,

As worked from commissioning stage, so there was lot of instability issues with the system. Following are some of the troubleshooting done which reduced unnecessary shutdowns in the Unit.
1. Sudden Natural gas pressure loss from the source but still maintained the plant running with negligible load
2. Sudden Loss in Steam Pressure but still maintained Steam turbine run at a very turndown conditions
3. Extreme Flooding in Cryogenic columns due to frequent change in Feed compositions
4. Extreme Foaming in Absorbers
5. Centrifugal compressors failing at high torque over whole shift- Made changes in Tripping conditions based on the Compressor documents and applied and since then still running fine.
6. Extreme Choking and high delta pressure increase across cold box, determined Hydrates formation conditions and how to mitigate it.

Jobe Role

1) Commissioning of the natural gas processing plant (commissioning of turbo-expander, steam turbine driven NG compressor, Gas sweetening unit, NGL fractionation unit.)



Pre-commissioning activities:

• Reviewing of Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering of Gas Sweetening/ C2+ recovery Unit.

• DCS graphics & logic review.

• Coordinating with Licensor, PMC & EPC.

• Conducted Pre-commissioning Activities of Gas Sweetening/C2+ recovery Unit sheet/cardboard blasting,

• air blowing, Steam Blowing,

• Fired Heater Dryout & Startup,

• Fuel Gas network commissioning for entire complex,

• Chemical cleaning,

• Lube oil flushing for compressors and expander compressors.).

• Conducting training about process & operation to employees.

Commissioning activities:
• Steam charge inside the plant (VHP, MP, LP).
• Other utilities charging inside the plant.
