- Prepare/ review Inspection test plan in-line with customer/ project specification.
- Interpret project Quality requirements and prepare test procedures.
- Attend Pre-inspection meetings and co-ordinate customer/ Third Party inspections.
- Prepare test schematic and test procedures for special testing.
- Responsible for ensuring stage wise testing as per project documents.
- Inspection of valves and review material specification of valves.
- Prepare Quality data record for valves.
- Support project execution and performs work and or delegates work to team members on implementation of specialized or technical requirements and studies of projects.
- Handle requirements for product enhancements, customer specials & technical support.
- Assure technical success of the project by managing all mechanical, electrical, software, instrumentation, quality, vendor, cost, quality and fabrication issues and schedules.
- Provide technical support to assembly team and site service person.
- Interpretation of special testing requirement from customer specifications to the factory.
- Prepare test schematic and test procedures for special testing.
- Troubleshooting valve problems and providing customers with valid and cost effective solutions.
- Suggest and implement design modifications for improved valve performance or achieving critical requirements.
- Application, Sales and Project management for Control Valve for process industries.
- Sizing and selection of the valves for the Oil and Gas, Air separation plant, LNG, Steel plant, power, Refinery, Chemical & Fertilizer and process industry.
Perform valve / actuator sizing calculation.
Techno-commercial bid preparation which involves,
- Review of project specifications, data sheets and process sheets.
- Review of material requirements, inspection and testing requirements
- Respond to technical clarifications and attend technical discussions on requirement of customer or make arrangements to attend technical discussions depending upon the requirement of the project.
- Responsible for the contract Management & Order Execution.
