•Reviewing & Preparing ITP, WPS/PQR. Welder Qualification Record and QC procedures and giving approval for the same.
•Verification of piping joint fit up includes root gap, root face, bevel angle, joint cleanliness any preheat requirements etc.
•Conducting “Pre Inspection Meeting”, reviewing quality documents, performing inspection and expediting as a third party inspector.
•Assisted in developing and implementation of approved repair procedures
•Gathering and analyzing NDT data to observe corrosion/erosion problems and calculating remaining life of equipments and piping circuits.
•Welder’s performance monitoring and giving adequate training to the welders.
•Overall responsible for Dimensional checking of fabricated spools and released for NDE.
•Checking of fit up’s and weld visual inspection as per project requirement, code and standards..
•Verification of heat no’s and making the traceability records for the materials.
•Inspection of bought supplier materials and review of test/batch certificates.
•Responsible for WPS control on isometric drawings.
•Preparation of ITP, QCP, Method Statement and procedures and get it approved from client
•Coordination with QC Inspectors for daily QC activities and documentation
•Attending weekly Quality and Construction meeting with client and subcontractor
•Coordination with subcontractors for daily inspection and documentation
•Responsible for surface preparation and coating wrapping of SS & CS spools
