Key Result Areas:
•Working in Core procurement and Contracts division of the Dangote Group as covered in the Contract includes sourcing of project Capital Equipment, Licensor Packages (Fired Heater, Flares, Nitrogen plant, Hydrogen Plants, Aux Boilers, Pressure vessels Heat Exchangers, APH’s, DGs, Meter skids, Line Pipes, Mainline Ball valves, Leak detection system, etc….) and technically compliant and approved products and services in time, commitment to delivery as per project approved planning package
•Supervised selection of vendor, floating enquiries, bid receipt, technical evaluation co-ordination, commercial evaluation, negotiation (T&C and Price) and finalization of orders
•Spearheaded a team of 12 Local members basically Procurement and Logistic Engineers to ensure project milestones are met as per contract schedule
•Liaised with supporting departments such as Engineering, QA/QC & Finance, Construction & Commissioning Teams
•Shared inputs with the Bidding Team including pricing, vendor selection & tax implications of turnkey EPC contracts (License Package vendors, fuel depots, Tankages, cross-country pipe line, reformers & fired heater packages)
•Developed Contracts & sub-contract and Bridge agreement documents suitable for EPC package items, site and shop works contracts, vendor development, floating enquiry, receipt of quotations, pre-bid and post bid discussion & clarifications, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations, and awards
•Dealt with contracts including change orders, extra scope of works, dispute resolutions / settlements, contract clause clarification & interpretation), provided cash flow statement to finance, expediting, logistic planning, certified vendor payments / bills, invoice processing, and controlling
•Monitored global sourcing of main project capital equipment bulk sourcing, finalization of commercial terms and conditions, payment terms, price, banking related documentations (LC’s, T/T) and logistics; mainly dealing with China, America, Europe and Korean vendors
•Scrutinized cash flow statement, release of vendor payments, bank guarantee related tracking and reporting, vendor development, appraisal of sub-ordinates, attending meetings with clients during proposal stage and kick-off and progress meeting
•Supporting all in house capital budget estimation for future plans.

•HMU Package 2 Trains - each 100 KTPA (Vendor: Air Liquid - Germany) : Package Cost: 46.6 Mn USD
•Nitrogen Package (Generation Storage and Veporisation)-2 Trains of each -9500 Mn3/Hr (Gas) with 8 Double Wall liquid nitrogen storage vessels (Vendor: Sichuan Air Separation Plant - China): Package Cost: 12.2 Mn USD

Accomplishments:
•Pivotal in saving of Millions of USD through innovative approaches such as proposal of new vendor with technical compliance, sourcing from LCC ( Low Cost Countries like, China, India and S. Korea), contacting through Metal Trading agencies etc..
•Played a key role in overcoming Approval of new vendors, logistic issues, technical issues / challenges during the execution of contracts / projects
