Key Result Areas:
• Planning & executing terminal operation, safety, manpower management, product blending, product import and export thru ship and local distribution thru road tankers. Intertank Pipeline transfer, Terminal to terminal pipeline transfer, blending operation, Ship loading/ unloading.
• Overseeing the complete leadership of the Plant/ Project operations; organising, planning and coordinating product development & manufacturing operations viz. requirement analysis, finalising materials/parts specifications, reviewing the drawings, designing, budgeting, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance
• Developing potential vendors for cost effective purchases of materials and scheduling & rescheduling of supplies
• Managing on-site activities viz. installation, commissioning, automation & maintenance of systems, etc.; optimising processes as per quality guidelines, troubleshooting issues in coordination with other departments and improving efficiency
• Planning, guiding, and supervising the maintenance activities of equipment of the plant and other machinery.
• Hands on experience with all kind of metering skids, flow meters and oil measurement systems including performance monitoring, calibration, certification, and maintenance of the measurement system.
• Leading teams, imparting trainings, monitoring their performance, and taking measures for their skill up-gradation
• Performing testing & maintenance of deluge system, rim seal foam package, semi fixed foam pourers, monitors, hydrants, and extinguishers
• Blending of petroleum products like Gasoil, Gasoline, Naphtha, Fuel Oil for up gradation of Products and economics
• Interaction with Hamriyah Port and Khalid port Sharjah, Sharjah Custom for vessel operations.
Highlights
• Pivotal in managing Total Tanks: 18 nos. Capacity is @ 100000 m3:
o Commissioned all the facilities of main jetty & inner harbour of Hamriyah with 5 nos. of pipeline which are connected with Terminal.
o Commissioned the terminal in coordination with Hamriyah port authority, Hamriyah free zone authority, SEWA and Civil Defence.
o Installed & commissioned with equipment of various terminal including TAS (Tank Automation System), TMS (Terminal Management System) and SCADA System.
o Pre-commissioned &-commissioned:
• The facility of the terminal’s equipment including PLC, product blending, metered loading & unloading through loading bay, jetty loading facility @2400 m3/hr flow.
• Developed Jet A-1/ JP-8 handling facilities as per EI/JIG 1530.
THE ACCOUNTABILITIES & ATTAINMENTS
• Worked as Lead for Refinery Expansion Project from 10 mmtpa to 16 mmtpa and then 20 mmtpa. Major role was to review and suggest the max. economical designing and configuration for utilization of refinery streams to produce marketable products.…
• Pivotal in managing Total Crude Tanks: 12 nos. and Product Tanks: 101 nos. Handled crude oil terminal for 3 yrs. and Product tank farm for 3 yrs. Hands on experience of more than 82 types of crudes, various product blending.
• Optimization of Jetty loading facility, Road loading facility and refinery blending system.
• Effectively managed five crude blending facility for refinery feed with the single RBC.
• Successfully administered the activities related to conceptual design basis of the refinery tank farm, road loading gantry, up gradation of jetty facility for product loading encompassing process & basic designing of 2 nos. of 1, 20, 000 kl/each crude tank and 32 nos. of product and intermediate tanks
• Effectively interfacing with EPS (Economics Planning & Scheduling Group, Supply & Trading Group, Refinery Unit, Laboratory, Service Dept., Technical Services, Marine Dept., Rail & Road Terminal & Safety Dept. for managing day to day activities
• Served as:
o Authorized Auditor for performing periodic cross functional audit to ensure safety compliance
o Coordinator for implementing ERIMS (Essar Refinery Integrated Management System), PSM (Process Safety Management) and 5S
• Played a key role in administering end to end operation activities of tank farms such as operation, safety & oil movement management and modification and link-up with expansion units
• Instrumental in supervising crude receipt, crude and other intermediate feed to units, intermediate product handling, blending operation, product certification, cargo loading, product dispatch activity, tank commissioning and decommissioning activity for maintenance job/as per the statutory requirements, SAP material posting.
• IMS (QMS/EMS/OHSAS) auditor and Certified Lead Auditor for EMS -ISO 14001:2004
• Exposure with SAP IS Oil module (MM & PM), R300, R400 server as an end user for oil movement inventory management.
Highlights:
• Functioned as Lead Engineer for New Refinery Tank Farm Project execution - 140 nos. of tanks.
• Successfully administered the activities related to Conceptual Design Basis of the Refinery Tank Farm & Integration Facility between refining units and tank farm, tank farm and jetty/SPM facility which includes process & basic designing of 12 nos. of 1, 20, 000 KL/each crude tank and 102 nos. of product and intermediate tanks involving design basis, process review & project execution.
• Refinery Tank Farm blending operation, safety, ISO management, auditor for IMS (Integrated Management System).
• Effectively interfacing with EPS (Economics Planning & Scheduling Group, Supply & Trading Group, Refinery Unit, Laboratory, Service Dept., Technical Services, Marine Dept., Rail & Road Terminal & Safety Dept. for managing day to day activities
• Hands on experience for tank cleaning and M & I of tanks for inspection.
