• Managing high value projects full life cycle to ensure timely completion whilst achieving objectives, in budget and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Meeting profit margins and adhering to set budgets and cost constraints
• Project planning and scope planning (including execution of contracts awarded to the company). Aim is to enhance the company’s portfolio of new clients and retention of existing clients. Key in business development.
• Promotion of company products and services to new/existing customers to ensure cross-selling. Aim is to enhance AAF’s reputation in the market and rapport with clients which is achieved through client visits and tailored presentations.
• Complete initial plaining and design of works. 2D/3D software used to issue drawings and designs for approval prior to manufacturing and installation.
• Undertaking on-site visits to commission projects with a view of installation. Conduct analysis and recommend improvements/solutions for existing installations and future projects. Including writing Risk assessment and Method statements documents.
• Providing first class customer service when resolving complaints and issues
• Participating in future project discussions and assisting management in forming/adapting strategies to current market conditions and against competitor analysis. Direct communication and liaison with customer and end user. Tender meetings and future project discussions.
• Improving operational processes for better efficiency (i.e. Air Filters order entry system). I have regularly utilised my experience and knowledge of Prince 2 Agile to ensure higher probability of success and increased profitability
• Regularly coordinating between suppliers and subcontractors and the development of business plans to the Board for business justification and viability
• Compliance with general guidelines of controls and industry standards.
• Administrative activities including maintenance of databases and job files and the constant/routine process improvement, improving control, monitor and execute project measures.

PROJECT ENIGENEER MANAGER

Unitspark serve the Engineering and Water sectors with Fabrication, Welding and Bespoke Mechanical Engineering.
Main responsibilities:
• Managing and running multiple projects from initial enquiry to installation and commissioning. Aim is to provide a full yet bespoke service, whilst exploring innovation solutions to industries such as water, oil and gas and rail.
• Preparation of technical and commercial proposals including: defining the scope for works, detailed technical justification, BOM’s, drawings, engineering calculations, costs breakdown/structure and producing time scale reports
• Building client rapport and relationships; following up on client requirements to spec up work and keeping them appraised of progress throughout the project lifeline
• Support product testing and outsource special tooling if required
• Adhering to quality management regulation and methods; including ISo 9001, ISo 14001, BS 18001, COSHH and BS EN 1090.
• Cost analysis and sourcing of material from various suppliers and or in-house and managing these relationships
• Manage sub-contractors

• Handling of budgets and controlling spend for projects

• Organise delivery, works and installation (according to time scales), as well as overseeing installation, delivery and commissioning of the designed solutions

PROJECT ENGINEER

Invenio Systems was established to provide innovative solutions to the water industry and its customers.
Main responsibilities:
• Liaising with water company representatives and customers
• Detail planning of project, times scale and objectives
• Extensive site surveys, pre and post survey
• Travel to sites to perform Installation or retrieval of equipment and carry out duties as a Field Engineer
• Maintenance of equipment, logistics, outsourcing tasks and obtaining equipment/ material needed for particular project.
• On-going service support and data download and analysis as well as producing document reports and presenting findings with an emphasis on solutions
• Compliance with policies, regulation and procedures for safety and quality, ultimately to ensure complete client satisfaction

Industry experience included:
• Achieving Level 0 and Level 1 training in magnetic inspection of pipelines and software
• Obtaining level 1 in certified analysis
• Tasked with feature recognition, fitting recognition, identifying anomalies (i.e. dents, metal loss, bends, mag loggers, and tied in maps)
• A sample of project responsible for included:
o Matching defect sizes with signals on Spiral weld in 21” Petrochina Pull through data
o Manually sized signals from pull through defects on Spiral weld in 21” pull through data
o Extracting MFL 3 sizing performances for pin holes, axial slots and circumferential slots 6” to 56” tools
o Assessment/performance of azimuth for MFL 4 12”, 16”, 18” 34” tools
o MFL4 14” generate type curve
o MFL 4 manual sizing of pull through defects
o Producing dig and inspection sheets for field activity
Skills learnt:
• Organisational and preparatory skills - I honed the skill of preparing material in advance to avoid set backs and delays. I was also skilled in organising information into different streams and to categorise findings.
• Time management and multi-tasking- managed time efficiently in order to consistently meet deadlines (sometimes multiple deadlines at once) and worked gracefully under pressure
• Trusted to work independently - Although I had a supervisor, he trusted me to work independently to finish tasks to a high standard and always on time
• IT skills - successfully retrieved information from various databases. Also experienced in data entry and the production of results in visual format (i.e. graphs, tables)

My experience at Scarborough Hospital revolved around observing, shadowing and assisting doctors of the following departments: dental clinic, biochemistry, microbiology, histology, haematology and theatre. Some of my tasks included:
• Organising and preparing samples for doctors to look at
• Registering applications on computers
• Reception and administrative duties
• Sorting of samples into different categories
