Responsible for creating a new product which will replace a legacy product in the current company's portfolio. Currently we are responsible for development of both front and back end modules. This product will help Algo reach new heights as they will be able to pitch a brand new improved product to other customers besides existing portfolio and potentially collect more revenue.
I was among a dedicated two member team who was responsible for development and maintenance of an American institute's website. We were handling all the aspects of technical nature. During our time we enabled the institute to double the size of the data it can collect and diversify its operations.
Our major responsibility at this place is to develop/maintain a number of modules of the flagship product of this company.
The tools used are Visual Studio and VS Code etc. We use different frameworks like .NET, Angular etc. C# and VB are usually used for server side programming while client side programming is usually done using JS, TypeScript.
Client communication is a primary responsibilty of ours as we involve in a lot of communication for requirement gathering, issue resolutions, improvement room discussions, process improvement discussions etc.
We were supposed to work as game developers and cross testers. Work was distributed among pair of teams each team develops a game and than they will exchange their with each other for QA and testing.
