• Prints films including evaluating films for technical quality.
• Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; Performs preventive maintenance on regularly scheduled basis; contact outside service for major malfunctions.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
• Transport patient to radiographic room; prepare and maintain room.
• Request and orders supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at time.
• Monitors safety in MRI/CT.
• Performs MRI’s scan interventional procedure and addresses patient concerns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

I also actively participated in different audits i.e. hand hygiene, research and continuing professional development workshops such as basic radiation protection, Basic Cardiac Life Support, firefighting, infection control workshops, World Radiography day, Cancer Symposium etc. I am also working as safety coordinator of radiology department. I have been assessed through peer evaluation, professional attitude, compliance to department, protocols and policies etc.

• Setting of new Protocols in the machine as well.
Prepared patients for contrast medium administration under the RCR guidance on Standards for intra-vascular contrast agent administration.
Performed QC on daily basis, performed pregnancy checklist prior to procedures, ensure cleaning and sterilization to reduce risk of infections. Complied with department and hospital radiation and safety standards. Calibrated, maintained and troubleshot radiologic equipment to minimize operational downtime.
Communicated with physicians, nurses and other team members concerning patient status, diagnoses and related information.
Interpreted data and offer personalized recommendations for patient care.
Provide education related to radiations and contrast reaction prior to the scan. Take all kinds of safety measures before and after the scan.
Monitored patients for signs of adverse reactions or other abnormalities of significance.
X-RAY (Fluoroscopy & Portable (DR Philips) C-Arm (BV Vectra Philips) :
Performed all kinds of x-rays, special views according to physician's instructions, provides radiological assistance using C-arm in variety of operation theater procedures and endoscopic procedures.
Operated mobile scanning equipment to obtain imagery in emergency situations in ER and ICU.
