• Review of monthly Financial Statements for Expertise Contracting Company and its subsidiaries.

• Preparation of consolidated Financial Statements along with the commentary of the Daraz Group to ensure its been prepared in accordance with the IFRS which is then presented to Group CFO.
• Preparation of Variance Analysis Report to ensure the expenditures are in the assigned limits.
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the business at group and country level.
• Liaison with external auditors and with the local CFOs for the timely completion of audit.
• AP and AR aging analysis at group level.
• Preparation of Business plan for the Daraz group as a whole later comparing the actual results with it so as to monitor the performance of the Daraz group.
• Review of Monthly Financial Statements of sister concern companies based in Pakistan i.e., Savyour Pvt. Ltd., Disrupt Ventures Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., GZ Systems Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. and Gaditek Provident Fund and companies operating outside Pakistan i.e., PCK Technologies FZ LLC (UAE), SecNet Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), PMG Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), Disrupt Ventures Limited (Ireland) and Green Scale Technologies Pte. Ltd. (Singapore).
• Preparation of Financial Model.
• Preparation of Cash flow forecast and later preparation of variance report for management review.
• Liaison with external auditors.
• Review of Tax submission of companies based in Singapore i.e., SecNet Pte. Ltd. and PMG Pte. Ltd. and Liaison with tax consultant for sales tax and withholding tax matters in Pakistan.

• I was responsible for recording liabilities, ensuring the liabilities are recorded completely and in the correct accounting period.
• Scheduled payment after taking funds availability into account along with the income tax and sales tax
computations.
• Liaison with the Bank representative to ensure the payments to the respective supplier (s) is being made on time.
• Prepared quarterly budgets.
• Analyzed the variance from the budgeted payments and monthly submission of the variance report to the GM Accounts & Finance.
• Reviewed Daily Receipts and Payments Report along with the invoices prepared by the subordinates.
• I was part of the 10 members audit team where I was responsible to prepare risk-based audit programs in respect of different departmental audits and ensure their completeness and compliance.
• Responsibility for planning, executing and supervising audit fieldwork according to established schedule, recommending internal control improvements that includes operational enhancements and preparation of audit reports.
• Analyzed operational and management processes and system controls effectiveness and efficiency in view to improve internal controls and propose value-added recommendations.
• Reviewed integrated modules to ensure that appropriate controls exist.
• Reviewed work performed by junior staff, ensuring the work has been performed and documented appropriately.
• Involved as a team member in the departmental audits of Quality Assurance, Administration, Packing Material Store (PMS), Finished Goods Store (FGS), Engineering and Miscellaneous Store (EMS), Raw Material Store (RMS), Production departments to:
• Ensured compliance of SOPs
• Recommended formulation of SOPs (where required)
• Evaluated internal control systems and risk management procedures, identifying weaknesses therein and making recommendations to the management.
