Review & study bid documents
Review BOQ, Tender drawings, specification, special & general conditions. Quantities takeoff against available drawings.
Coordinating in preparing initial design drawings (if any).
Coordinate with Planning & financial department in preparing initial time schedule & cash flow to consider any financial expenses.
Cost breakdown for BOQ items regarding direct & indirect costs.
Prepare the final proposal (technical and commercial)
Prepare necessary compliance documents
Contributing in any new scope & Change or Variation orders.
Coordinate with sales team in preparing Company Profiles & prequalification Follow up with client & developer during bid evaluation stage.
Reads and reviews customer (RFQ’s) to evaluate customer requirements.
Selects appropriate equipment and develops solutions based on customer needs. Prepares the customer technical and commercial offer.
Ensure offers are within the strict price and standard margin policies.
Liaises with other supporting functions in the preparation of the offer.
Supports the sales team in the preparation of the commercial section of offer. Provides timely, accurate, and complete replies to customer technical questions. Acts as an internal and external technical resource during the Tendering phase Participates in customer kick off meeting as required.
Supports the Project Management team during the execution phase.
Responsible for the preparation, review, finalization and production of qualifications documents, materials and presentations, and small to medium proposals including compliance with RFP and corporate requirements, and maintaining the tools/systems needed to support proposal preparation
Job Description:
• Review of Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, understanding, analyzing and accurately assessing all ITT requirements for Power System Projects.
• Co-ordination, preparation and compilation of complete, compliant and professional proposal documentation, both technical and commercial, for submission to clients in line with client bid documents and tender deadlines.
• Attendance of, and presiding when required, internal tender review meetings.
• Attendance at client tender clarification meetings / negotiations, including management and organization of all required client endorsed changes to previously submitted tenders.
• Maintaining communication with client and support in obtaining client feedback on tenders submitted.
