Stores Operations


Strategy, Planning and Processes:
• Ensure all initiatives at the Store level are aligned with the company's vision, while developing strategic direction and establishing appropriate priorities for projects critical to success
• Drive and implement the Retail Strategy, to continuously achieve top line targets and also maximize profitability from stores.
• Manage and control operational expenses in line with the budget.
• Review operational reports and records to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, monitor store profitability, and develop long range goals and objectives
• Planning & Optimization of Space to improve productivity & Per Square feet ROI
• Estimate sales potential and product mix for new store locations
• Inventory Management including rotation of stocks, movement of slow/non moving stock & margins
• Regular & rigorous analysis of Catchment, Competition, Industry/ Market Trends
Customer & Operations:
• Ensure identification and improvement of best practices; creation and implementation of SOPs
• Deliver a World Class Shopping Experience basis feedback of Mystery Shopping Audits.
• Ensure positive customer experience being delivered by all stores. Achieve customer satisfaction through development of a customer service oriented culture in the stores.
• Strengthen brand identity through focused customer engagement and superior brand experience across touch points. Ensure that the brand image is continuously enhanced through appropriate marketing and retail strategy.
• Drive Loyalty Program at the Stores to increase repeat business
People & Collaboration:
• Ensure effective alignment of Retail Operations with Commercial, Supply Chain, Distribution and Projects under a common plan and strategy.
• Create and drive a high performance culture by setting clear expectations and targets, analyzing stores’ performance, holding Managers accountable and giving appropriate direction and feedback.
• Ensure high employee engagement at every level through an effective Employee Engagement plan, basis inputs from Engagement Surveys.
