Preparation, review, approval & implementation of Project Quality Plans(PQP), Inspection & Test
Plan (ITP), Project specific procedures and method statement for fabrication/welding/NDT
procedures/hydro static test procedure/painting.
Well versed with international standards viz. API, ASME, AWS, ASNT, ASTM, NACE, PIP, BS, PFI etc.
and ISO 9001:2008 series of QMS standards.
Assisting to prepared Project Dossier of the projects.
Identifying & issuing of non-conformity as observed during execution of work.
Coordinating to conduct all required tests in accordance with Project Quality Plan and Client
Specifications .
Carrying out preliminary inspection of materials of construction & reviewing the material mill
certificate.
Preparing the weld inspection & material traceability certificate & updating the same.
To check the field welds & consumables complying with project qualifications.
To check all repairs are perform correctly & non destructive tests are regularly repeated.
To keep a report file for all non-destructive tests.
To assist the Site Superintendent & coordinate the supervisor’s activity, carry out & implement the
QA/QC program, arrange & conduct meeting under the Site Superintendent direction.
To visit the construction site daily to check whether all works, materials, equipment, are in
accordance with QA/QC procedures, project specification and client requirements.
To obtain any necessary approval for changing as appropriate procedure & for reforming
requiring special procedures.
High level of knowledge on process driven quality systems, skills and audit experience in
facilitating efforts to resolve interfaces issues and coordinate multiparty QA objectives.
Actively participation in project internal audits.
Extensive experience in preparation, inspection activities, qualification of welding procedures
and monitoring welding jobs across projects.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

•Ensuring the quality as per code, standards and project
specification in all stage of activities.
•Responsible to received material inspection and obtain the customer
Clearance.
•Coordinating with client for all stage inspection.
•Organizing the TPIA for NDT Testing Requirement as per Code and Standards
and contract.

•To provide proactive resolution on quality related problems may arise on the
projects.
•Maintaining controls and documentation such as inspection reports, finishing
reports and non conformance reports etc.
•Comply with the IMS (Integrated Management System) which includes
Quality, health, Safety & Environment standards of the Company.
Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection
and Test Plan (ITP).
Inspect the production quality to establish if the client requirements are
being achieved.
Shall perform a variety of inspection functions under supervision
Record and document all deviations from the Project Quality Program
and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are
carried out expediently.
Generate Requests for Inspection (RFI) for site activities and check the
activities as per approved ITP.
Continually carry out surveillance inspections on the project recording
and documenting any and all deviations from the Project Quality
Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the
project ensuring the equipment is within calibration prior to use.
Provide support and advice to the construction personnel in relation to
the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management
System (IMS)
Maintain good record keeping of activities carried out and inspection
reports, surveillance reports, etc.
Incoming material inspection.
Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) for various grade
materials and various process welding.
Conduction of welding procedure qualification and welder qualification
test.
During and completion of fabrication and ensure the quality for all stages
i.e.marking, fit up, welding visual.
NDT requirements, heat treatment, leak test, hydro test and surface
preparation painting inspection.
Responsible for all front end inspection activities at project site including
the sub contractor works as per the project specification and quality
plans.
Coordinate with Project QC Manager for all QA/QC documentation
works.
Regular Surveillance and monitoring of all site activities.
Liaise with NDT sub contractor at site and ensure the joints are identified
for NDT sub contractor
Witness / inspect / interpret NDT
Report daily progress for the assigned tasks and maintain records
Good knowledge of inspection requirements for welding, piping, tanks,
surface preparation, coating, NDT, hydro testing etc.
Good experience in implementation of ISO−9001:2000 Standards and
procedure in the organization.
Responsible for reviewing proposal and details design drawings,
specification, data sheets for the projects based on client scope of work,
Project Quality Plan, applicable client standards.
Co-coordinating and conducting internal quality audits, maintain ISO
documentation, Quality Policy, objectives and ensure its implementation,
follow-up of non-conformities and subsequent corrective and preventive
actions.
Analysis of Customer comments and implementation of corrective and
preventive action.
Ensure projects delivery with full documentation and checkpoints action
and verification records.
Review of Quality manuals, QA plans, procedures and inspection and
test plans(ITP), audit schedule preparation and conducting Internal Audit,
Statistical Analysis, follow-up of corrective and preventive actions and
reporting to Management Review Meeting.
Preparation of non-conformance and follow-up actions for the customer
complaints, internal problems, incoming inspection, testing and
commissioning and subsequent follow-up of corrective and preventive
action for the problems.
Implement and enforce company Quality System and procedures to
ensure operations are performed in an efficient manner in compliance
with relevant legislation and company requirements.
Assist Project Managers to ensure that the quality of the project meets
Client’s requirements.
Aware of various clients, national and international codes &
specifications and exposure to documentation in line with ISO 9001
quality, related to oil & gas engineering and construction.
Responsible for providing guidance to contractor and witness all piping /
mechanical testing and commissioning activities.
Responsible for coordinating with the various contractors to ensure that
the approved Health & Safety / QA/QC procedures and the Quality Plan
are implemented during inspection activities.
Provide input to company progress reporting systems as required.
Responsible for supervising the contractor in the compilation of the
handover and test packs together with all as-built documentation.
Determine if work meets the acceptance criteria.
Assist engineering in regards to material selection.
Review and approve or disapprove method statements and inspection &
test plans submitted by vendors and construction contractors.

I have done my diploma in mechanical engineering with 61.5% First class
