Technical Environment - Windows 7/8/8.1/10; Office 365; Windows Server 2008R2/2012/2012R2, SonicWall, NAS. Responsible for - Technical Support and Security for onsite users, Manage and coordinate IT activities
• Install, configure Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. In accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. • Perform IT risk assessment for new IT projects and the associated infrastructure and applications; able to provide recommendations for mitigating risk, periodically perform penetration testing and security assessments of existing IT infrastructure and applications. • Actively participate in security incident management process and provide security incident reports. • Responsible for day-to-day operations of ITS security and identity management tools. Creates and maintains standard operating procedures for all systems. • Develop security awareness training content and participate in the delivery of the content, as needed. • Designs, implements, and manages security policy and configuration for firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL VPN, IP Telephony, wireless, switches, routers, and other information systems and network devices. • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups • Monitors compliance to security policies and procedures through log analysis, threat analysis, etc. • Scanning and identifying the network/application vulnerabilities. • Respond to and resolve help desk requests • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution • Works with other ITS groups to ensure information systems are appropriately patched and otherwise defended against known vulnerabilities. • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes • Install and test computer-related equipment • Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
Technical Environment - Windows 7/8/8.1/10; Office 2010/2013/2016; Windows Server 2008R2/2012/2012R2 Responsible for - Technical Support for onsite users. • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, providing 2nd level support. • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks • Serves as the technical resource for implementing appropriate access protection, data integrity, data reliability, audit control and other security controls for all ITS information systems and network devices. • Help define operational processes to ensure predictable operational outcomes; refine ITIL processes and procedures. Ticket Monitoring and monthly reporting to Management. • Monitors compliance to security policies and procedures through log analysis, threat analysis, etc. • Asset Management and monthly audits against CMDB. • Network Management - weekly restarts and quarterly firmware checks of all network devices. • Works with other ITS groups to ensure information systems are appropriately patched and otherwise defended against known vulnerabilities. • Develop security awareness training content and participate in the delivery of the content, as needed. • Managing users in Microsoft Office 365 cloud environment • Assess effectiveness of internal IT controls (both information security and IT in general).. • Installing and configuring VMware (EXSI 6.0).
