Roles & Responsibilities

→ Set up the Mother Baby and Child online retail product division at Jollychic UAE for the international Mother Baby and Child brands. Full ownership of the category at Jollychic, UAE.
→ Responsible for Category planning, execution & optimizing the sales of the category.
→ Monitor the performance of both individual products and the overall category using data to determine the best - and worst - performing products, creating profit and loss statement for the category.
→ Signed up more than 300 international brands In partnership with local distributor and international partners.
→ Responsible for setting up a competitive pricing mechanism in negotiation with vendors and driving a profitable sale.
→ Successfully negotiated contract, pricing, margin, terms of business, delivery & payment terms with more than 100 vendors in the region for various products under Mother Baby and Child category.
→ Set up a KPI for the division to drive the business successfully.
→ Work with merchandiser to ensure that the products have the best visibility on month on month basis to drive profitable sales.
→ Work with the Marketing team to ensure weekly promotion of the merchandised products through social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, email leaflet and influencers).
→ Constant negotiation with distributors to participate on a monthly promotion for their products with an agreed pricing sharing strategy to drive the sales for each of their key brands.
→ Identifying the top selling brands and the top selling SKU’s under each brand and ensure that they are always available in stock for sales.
→ Checking inventory level periodically, procuring additional stocks and Identifying the nonmoving stocks and take corrective action either by liquidating the stocks through various promotional means or by exchanging with the distributors.
→ Working with cross functional team of marketing, procurement and purchasing team, and provide leadership to execute the category’s strategies throughout the organization.
→ Monthly report to management on the performance of the category against the agreed KPI.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•Taking the brand ownership and develop overall business plan and develop direct marketing plans and strategies to match up to brand objectives.
•To ensure that the brand is available in all Baby product specialty retailers, hyper markets, leading Pharmacies and E commerce customers in the Middle East region and constantly identifying new potential customers for Tommee Tippee in the region.
•To set up the Business plan for each year country wise, customer wise for the brand for the GCC region.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Develop annual business plan/developing the company purchasing strategy including budgets.
•Drive aggressive distributor sign ups during pre launch and post launch and create store fronts for the respective brands.
•Forecasting the demand for products keeping in mind the business objective of the organisation.

•Search and source products not currently sold in the region to be sold on Mumzworld
•Create strong relationships with Manufacturers of Baby Diapers and Formula to list their products online year round.
•Devise regular events / promotions that will drive “hot product” to the consumer
•Responsible for P&L, driving top line and bottom line KPI’s
•Be the lead in searching and sourcing best global products online either through online links with global sites, local consignment or international purchase
•Identifying potential supplier, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining long lasting business relationship with them.
•The brand guardian of supplier contracts and documentation
•Competitive Analysis. Always stay one step ahead looking at what other online brands are sourcing.
•Work closely with Management on setting short and long term Business Development Strategy and KPI’s.
•Post Launch, manage the supplier life-cycle(s) through acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue ensuring that supplier is always satisfy

VIVA is the exclusive licensee for Warner Home Video (WHV), Universal Pictures International, DreamWorks, Paramount Home Entertainment, and BBC Worldwide, throughout various territories of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and parts of the Middle East. VIVA TOYS is the subsidiary of Viva Entertainment and is engaged in the business of buying and distribution of toys in the UAE and the rest of the Middle East countries through its various branches across the Middle East.

Job Responsibilities:
•Working as a sole Toy buyer at Viva toys with an annual toy buying of USD 5 million.
•Responsible for managing the range planning, development and product selection of various toy categories including boys and girls categories, construction toys, and plush and ensuring a unique, commercial range is on offer.
•Negotiate terms and prices, product launches and exclusives and promotional support with various toy suppliers.
•Pricing, sales projections and annual budget preparation for each property and each categories.
•Working with suppliers to ensure that all the toys packaging meets the Gulf toy regulation standards by carrying the G mark logo and the waning messages in Arabic.
•Reviewing the sales of new range and old range.
•Ensuring the products is delivered on time in line with the sales plan.
•Interpret sales report and predicting future sales to ensure that the correct business decisions are made including the reordering of effective lines and the management of problems lines through promotional activity.

•Negotiating with the freight forwarder on the shipment pricing and terms and working on all the documents with the supplier to ensure that the documents are correct before the shipment reaches Dubai.
•Negotiating payment terms with Toy suppliers.
•Letter of Credit set up with the finance team for the payment of goods.
•Preparation of sales quotes sheet, sales presentation for the UAE sales team and for all the branches across various GCC countries in line with each countries local currency.
•Communicating with the sales team in UAE and the branches on the budget vs actual and taking necessary action to minimize the shortfall by promotion and effective planning.
• Ensuring that all the Viva branches gets the products on time by effective shipment planning with the logistic team and the branches.
