Installation of Boilers along with Steam Turbo Blower Building in SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant
Involved in Site Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Procurement of site infrastructures and Reporting to HO.
Detailed description of present job responsibilities:
Main responsibilities:
• Erection, Testing & Commissioning of complete C&I system of Boiler package.
• C&I equipments for 3x150 TPH boilers & auxiliary units viz. fuel oil system, lube oil system, SWAS, CEMS, Soot blower system.
• C&I system: DDCMIS, Field instruments, Alarm Annunciation system, Power supply system for C&I, Control valves, Actuators, transmitters, Laying & termination of instrumentation cables, Process connection & feedback, CCTV, UPS for C&I system, Marshalling box & field junction box.
• Study & discussion with site I/c & client for proper site planning & execution.
Additional responsibilities:
• Preparation of daily activity plan & execute the project as per Contract agreement.
• Preparation & submission of official letters related to site activities and submission & discussion of drawings for discussion & comments of client.
• Preparation & submission of daily & weekly progress report to HO & client in prescribed format including all the activity of the project.
• Vendor selection, finalization with HO, planning, cable routing finalization, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Construction Power Distribution system.
• Study of overall plant layout which contains all the unit elevation and plan of project.
• Selecting & approving best consumables & materials to achieve quality as per requirement.
• Tracking project activities with particular emphasis on quality, safety conformity to drawings, specifications, standards & codes and periodically reviewed schedule.
• Co-coordinating with Design office and Consultant regarding C&I system.
• Disciplined documentation and record keeping skills, as per company standards.
• Regular contact with Mecon for Inspection Calls, Drawings & other related works.
• Keeping Contact with client for Clearing Dispatch Clearance.
• Material receiving Certificate from Client also being Cleared by me.
• Liasioning with Sub-Contractors.
• Project Execution work as per Client Requirement also being done by me.
Commercial responsibilities:
• Preparing and Submitting of Billing Schedule for Project.
• Preparing and Submitting of Bill to Client.
• Getting Additional Vendor Approval from client.
• Also Handling other Related Commercial and Financial Issues.
• Regular Liasioning with commercial and Finance persons for Clearing Bills and other commercial Issues.
• Keeping Update for Clearing Letter of Credit Payment.
Deals with panasonics factory automation product like ac servo motor and drive, gear motor, plc, hmi. Data logic Sensors and BEI IDEA encoder.
