DSOA is currently using Oracle e-Business Suite 12.0.6 and has rolled out business functionality across Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, Purchasing, Service, Sales and Inventory departments in 2011. DSOA Oracle Fusion Middleware technology infrastructure consists of Oracle SOA Suite 10g, Oracle WebCenter Suite 10g, Oracle DB 10g, Oracle Universal Content Management 10g R3 and others.
HCL is responsible to migrate/upgraded version of enterprise applications called Fusion Applications that are a) built on an open standards-based platform, b) based on best practices business processes, c) deployed through a selection of options and d) built with security as a priority.
Responsibilities: Worked as a Project Manager/Onsite Coordinator and some of the tasks for this role was and are: • Gather the requirements from client, understanding the current architecture of DSOA Infrastructure, applications in 10g and proposed 11g Architecture.
• Responsible to manage a onshore/offshore team for Migration of project from Oracle 10g to 11g components
• Guiding the team during migration of applications from 10g to 11g to solve the issues.
• Conduct customer/site readiness survey to assess customer readiness after receiving project award and before project start date.
• Unit testing and Integration testing for the DSOA-Project with 11g Oracle Webcenter, BPEL, Human workflows, OID roles & groups and Oracle DB technologies involved.
• Involved in Admin related tasks for the Weblogic 11g console, OID & OAM configuration.
• Involved in issues/ problem solving faced by the team.
• Improver the reusability of the technical developments/components/solutions to optimize the cost and delivery timeline.

1) Project: CAST, FRANCE
The CAST Application Intelligence Platform for AD includes an IT Executive Dashboard (AD Dashboard) to help managers make decisions about rationalizing their application portfolio, defining a sourcing strategy, controlling maintenance costs, monitoring maintainability and quality or allocating AD resources to projects.
Responsibilities: Worked as a Project leader and some of the tasks for this role was and are:
• Initiate due diligence session to understand level of support & skill required. Form support teams accordingly.
• Do analysis of applications from different technologies & publish the dashboard for higher management.
• Create CWP (Corporate Wide Portal) to publish the reports for all applications in single dashboard.
• Manage a team and support them in any technical issue's.

2) Project: British Telecommunications, Plc, U.K
British Telecom (BT) has outsourced some of its premier applications for Development, Support and Maintenance to Steria. These applications were critical to BT's different Lines of Business and hence there service availability was extremely critical for BT. It was important to maintain the availability of the service and provide new enhancements based on customer requirements.
Responsibilities: Worked as a Technical Project leader managing a team of 15 members and some of the tasks for this role was and are:
• Managed Transition of services
• Managing delivery of 24x7 business critical services for BT
• Lead the transition of all critical applications to offshore which included KA Planning & Execution, Coding, Client Interaction, Team Meetings, Frequent Conference Calls with Clients, Implementation of Development works.
• Monitor pre-defined batch schedules and supports 24x7 for exceptions and react (fix/escalate/inform)
• Participate/initiate P1/outage calls. Drive application recovery efforts for all impacting outages, including post outage reviews and improvement plans.
• Interface, with different workgroups including Tier2, support groups, development, operational element SME's, System Administrators to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Manage application startup/checklist tasks, log files, queues, transactions for exceptions and react (fix/escalate/inform)
• Provide weekly and monthly status reports to client and ensuring client satisfaction.
• An application has been developed from detailed specifications re-engineering existing code.
• Assist in the planning, co-ordination and execution of changes.
• Ensure that all team members contribute; by working with those who need help (a sure way to undermine a team is to ignore its non-performers)

NHS SBS is a unique joint venture between the Department of Health (DH) and Steria, and leads the way in developing and providing Finance & Accounting (F&A), Payroll, e-Procurement and Family Health Services (FHS) to all types of NHS organizations.
Responsibilities: Worked as a Project Leader and some of the tasks for this role are: • Lead a team for implementation ( XML Publisher Part) of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 System.
• Creating a reports in BI Publisher (XML Publisher) of CHEQUE Printing, Remittance Advice, Payments details etc. in eTEXT format
• Reviewed the Functional & Technical Reconciliation Scripts.
• Documentation of technical designs - MD070s, CV060s, CV0120s.
• Design and document (CV's documents) for all data conversions.

4) Project: MOD (Ministry of Defense), United Kingdom
MJDI (Management of Joint Deployed Inventory) is a program to build, implement and support a Tri-service (Air, Land and Sea) stock management system for the UK Ministry of Defense. This program (also called MJDI Full) is planned to build on the Steria provided RAF (USAS II) system. This is a large program which draws heavily on an experienced project team who has been together over a number of years and in whom the UK MoD customer has much confidence.
Responsibilities: • Create medium to high complexity Technical Designs that meet the specifications from Requirement and Functional Design documents.
• Review Requirements and Functional Designs and provide feedback.
• Perform regular reviews of solutions in development.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance to coding and design standards and provide feedback on ways to improve efficiency and performance as appropriate.

Rural Payments Agency (RPA) is an executive agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) which administers agricultural subsidies and intervenes to aid farmers. The agency is a result of the merger of CAP elements of ex-MAFF organization and ex-Intervention Board (IB)
Responsibilities: • Worked as a Technical Team leader for RPA.
