Roles & Responsibilities
•Punching of GRN for the Goods Receipts at the Site stores.
•Preparation of Comparative Statements of the suppliers
•Local Material Purchasing, Maintaning stock level.
•Stock Reconciliation and Materials Management
•Maintenance of Registers for Audits.indents posting
•MIS Reporting
•Effectively co-ordinate with Procurement & Production Control department for ensuring all the materials needed on time.
•Managing consumables and MRO stores effectively, tracking the consumption & maintaining stocks accuracy.
• Supervision and control of all the stores functions, like in-warding, issue and storage of materials, issue control, managing incoming and supplier line rejection material.
•Optimizing of all stock levels in stores, controlling the inventory by maintaining the maximum and minimum level of stock.
•Control of subcontractor’s material issues, and receipts and reconciliation of stocks with subcontractors.
•Conduct material consumption analysis, coordinate and resolve BOM issues, Inventory ageing analysis & classification, wastage and scrap control, control of supplier returnable packaging, RGP and NRGP control, shelf life parts monitoring, dead and slow moving stock monitoring and inventory control
•Use of various material management tools like LIFO FIFO, Kanban, Bin system. Conduct physical inventory vs system inventory reconciliation for every quarter & tracking material variances & reconcile the difference in stocks
•Exposure to Internal/External audits related to stores and prepare and circulate various MIS reports related to Stores Management
