Preparation of purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to the
departments originating request.
Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more
materials when necessary.
Respond to supplier inquiries about order status, changes or cancellation.
Perform buying duties when necessary.
Liaison with supplier in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to
resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, lot supplies and other
problems.
Review requisition in order to verify accuracy, terminology and
specification.
Track the status of requisition, contracts and orders.
Liaison with finance department for timely payment of vendors.
Prepare daily progress report on supply status.
Work related with inspection and dispatch of material to the various sites
