Reporting to Finance Director & Group CFO. Responsible for managing team of 6 junior accountants.

Duties & Responsibility

 Preparation of Monthly GRP ( Group Reporting Pack) - Responsible for timely monthly submission of consolidated financial statements to HQ in UK

 Month End Closing - Responsible for Month End Closing, approving month end close entries like outstanding, prepaid, depreciation.

 GL Entries & Balance Sheet Reconciliation - Responsible for GL & Balancesheet reconciliation through Blackline.

 Analyzing Financial Statement & Reporting in Variance - Performing variance analysis between budgeted and actual revenues and expenditures on a monthly basis; highlighting key areas of concern

 Management of Fixed Assets - Maintaing Fixed Assets Register. Tracking addition, disposal & Sales of Scrap items, Tracking the movement of cash inflows and outflows and assuring that sufficient funds are available in petty cash for CAPEX and OPEX expenditures;

 Petty Cash Management - Handled Petty Cash, responsible for ensuring that petty cash expenses are appropriate and in accordance with Group and local policies, disbursing cash from a petty cash account, documenting expenditures and keeping receipts, reconciling the account on weekly basis.

 Payroll Management - Responsible for Payroll calculation, arrears, deduction, calculation of Bonus, EOSB, Commisison, Medical & Travel allowance through trip. Reconcile report with HR

 Ownership of Internal & External Audit - Responsible for yearly Internal & Interim, External Audit & Fixed Assets audit.

 Forecasting & Budgeting - Support FC on forecasting and budgeting. Supporting FM in ensuring that inter company cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy

 Day to day Finance - Review & approving AR, AP, GL, Cash, Bank Recon entries passed by collegues, managed team of six junior accountants.

 Internal Reporting - Responisible for providing Sales Report, Cash Flow on weekly basis, AR & AP Ageing Analysis

Smiths Detection is UK based MNC, A world class manufacturer of detection and screening technology for the Aviation, Ports & Borders, Urban Security and Military.

Last drawn salary - AED 19, 625/- pm + Family benefits
Reason for leaving - Completion of Project based limited contract

Reporting to Financial Controller and responsible for managing team of 4 accountant.

Responsible for :
- Handle full spectrum of financial and accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, Cash & Bank transaction, Forecasting, Budgeting for ADAC Project
- Responsible for day to day finance and accounting operations of Project, Review & approve invoices payment vouchers & journal entries
- Perform project based cash flow forecasting on weekly basis, project cost forecasts/budget, cost tracking, monitoring and controls
- Ensure timely closing of accounts each month
- Responsible for monthly consolidated financial statements, cash-flow management reporting for submission to HQ in UK through CPM reporting tool.
- Working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis. Analysis of cost charged to project
- Issue project cost reports for review and approval.
- Support CFO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
- Support Finance Manager for Internal & External Audit

Responsible for Overall Accounting till Finalization of Accounts & Preparing financial
statements.

Overall supervision of the Accounts Department, controlling the team of 6 Accounts supervisor
