•Prepares the departmental annually operational and project budget estimates and monitors expenditures thereof.
•Initiates correspondence of administrative, procurement and financial nature; prepares regular and periodic operational reports; checks attendance records for employees and prepares the necessary lists for payment of their salaries monthly.
•Prepares the Department projects proposals and progress reports on the implementation of funded projects and maintains up-to-date records thereof.
•Collects, compiles and analyses basic statistical data related to the Department; maintains up-to-date records and files on the Department’s activities and staff.
•Participate in the preparation of the operational & Strategic plan for the department

•To contribute in preparation of scientific researches and working papers relating to accounting courses.
•Prepare action plans for the semester.
•Prepare a syllabus of the courses at the beginning of each semester.
•Supervision of student’s researches and reports.
•Participate in the preparation of course exams.
•Reviews and checks budget estimates, adjustments and reports to ensure conformity with the government Instructions.
•Prepare on quarterly basis the budget and expenditure data, reports and follows-up on significant over or under expenditures.
•Discuses expending officers on budget preparation and coordinates corrective actions maintains, and reports on projects funds in coordination with the responsibility unit Office.
•Analyzes, raises the obligation documents, reconciles/analyzes on monthly basis the obligation status reports with budget and expenditure reports; analysis budget reports to explain variances.
•Verifies, enters, and retrieves budgetary data in the governmental finance system.
• Answers queries raised by the expending officers on matter concerning the budget allotments, expenditure and any necessary corrective actions
•Enforce the laws governing the import and export of goods.
•Look for banned or taxable items in Travelers belongings and in the cargo of cars.
•Make sure that tourists declare the true value of goods they are bringing into the country and collect taxes.
•Prepare customs fees reports .
•Participation in preparation the budget of the department .
To contribute in the preparation of audit plans (long and short term).
•The implementation of all audit work within the requirements of *the annual audit plan which is adopted by the Senior management.
• Continuous review and evaluation of the effectiveness of internal control systems (administrative, financial and technical) in place and make sure implementation of them properly.
•Preparing working papers and memoranda regarding the necessary audit tasks.
•Ensure the Commitment of implementation of financial, administrative and operational policies approved from Senior management.
•Preparing the necessary reports on the progress of work as well as of any gaps or weaknesses in systems and control procedures.
•Preparation of trial balances and periodic financial reports, study and analysis them.
•Preparation of payrolls and wages for staff.
•To prepare adjusting entries at the end of the period.
•Preparation of financial statements at the end of the fiscal year.
•Preparation of formal statements on time for submission to the government authorities.
• Implementation of financial and accounting procedures approved by senior management.
•To keep accounting books and documents necessary for the applications of approved system.
•Preparation of monthly reconciliations.
•Participate in the process of periodic and annual inventory of materials and fixed assets and match them with their own accounts.
•To Prepare of bank reconciliation statements every month and show the differences (if any).
Implementation of the accounting system subject to the governmental entity.
•To ensure the accuracy, correctness and proper functioning of the financial documents cycle.
•Prepare periodic & final reports.
•Managing, coordinating and following up implementation of financial plans, regulations and procedures, in addition, reporting, monitoring and control of resources and expenses of the Ministry and ensure the correct use according to the budget and financial plans.
•To develop recommendations and submit them to the General Director in respect of all financial facts.
