Roles & Responsibilities
• Monitoring, controlling and assisting in performing all credit section activities which include conducting credit investigations, cash management in addition to developing a- credit procedure in accordance to local laws and
regulations and Modern Electronics' accepted risk levels. • Executing endorsed plans and programs to achieve set goals
• Suggesting plans, programs and activities to boost the efficiency/ effectiveness of the section
• Determining work procedures, preparing work schedules and expediting work flow to improve efficiency of subordinates and maintaining harmony among them
• Assigning/ distributing duties, supervising work activities for excellence and ensure conformance to policies and procedures
Executive and Technical Duties
• Supervising all credit activities and ensuring their compliance with the adopted policies and procedures
• Conducting credit investigations, cash management and updating customers’ credit activities
• Auditing delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debt status to account
• Reviewing the customers’ contracts according to the adopted credit policies and approving their credit limits ...etc • Conducting monthly and annual accounts receivable analysis for local customers
• Ensuring that credit customers payments are on due dates and credit limits are not exceeded
• Ensuring full control over the collection of receivables, returned checks with all concerned parties
General Administrative Duties
• Preparing periodic reports with respect to company activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct Manager
• Following-up on employee's administrative affairs such as: vacations, leaves ...etc
• Participating in conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices
• Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibility of the position whenever the need arises • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by his direct supervisor
•Supervise the day to day sales accounting activity and all its functions including accounts receivables operations
•Work effectively with Sales and Finance teams to analyze business results and opportunities
•Maintain periodic reporting and analysis for Sales Accounting
•Work with the Other Finance functions to understand financial reporting and impacts from the Sales accounting area and annual audits
•Actively participate in company projects to improve workflow processes for efficiency and improvement
•Carry out periodical age-wise debtor's analysis and follow-up for timely payments
•Plan, organize, direct, and control Sales and collection related administrative activities, recordkeeping systems and files.
•Develop, implement and review internal control procedures on all sales related activities.
•Act as liaison with sales and marketing and customers.
•Work closely with concern departments on preparation of annual budget related to sales
•Support sales management by providing them strategic analysis for sales related operations
•Assists with the periodic accounts closing processes for sales operations
•Assist in the preparation of data and information for the external audits & reviews
•Supervise sales cash management including internal and external transfers
•Provide and lead insight on sales operations margin improvement initiatives to increase business profitability
•Responsible for ensuring activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures
•Responsible for safeguarding company assets
•Responsible for ensuring all payment related documents are submitted to HO finance on time
•Responsible for releasing of Marketing Credit Notes through SAP and keeping Hard copies in respective file.
•Responsible for following up and monitoring all Showrooms and Service Centers balances on daily basis.
•Responsible for reporting for the following:
Outstanding Balances of Showrooms & Service Centers - Weekly.
Dealer Exception Report - Monthly.
Showroom Exception Report with Explanation - Monthly.
SPAN GL account status - Monthly.
Quotations issued by Showrooms - Weekly.
•Responsible for managing POS performance
•Responsible for managing main accounts with reasonable discrepancy at all time
•Responsible for performing physical verification of stock and confirm the stocks against the inventory reports and surprise verification of stocks.
•Responsible for performing monthly and surprise petty cash verification and make necessary replenishment in advance.
•Responsible for coordinating with the bank for Custom Duty bank draft and forwarding to Import Department.
Key Responsibilities
•Reporting to the Plant Manager, Finance Manager and the Production managers by preparing the daily and cumulative plant performance reports.
•Handling the Petty cash and expenses.
•Preparing the time sheet for CPP Employees to payroll department.
•Processing the overtime hours in to the payroll system.
•Training of the new staff on the branch finance work process.
Key Responsibilities
•Reconciling the Sales routes, collecting cash, cheques, credit invoices.
•Generating and preparing the Sales reports after day or week closing.
•Deposing the cash in Bank and prepare the daily cash reconciliation statement.
•Sharing the quarterly Stock count.
•Providing the required work training to the new employees.
I followed the course at Ernst & Young, Bahrain.
The program was for two years & half along with work training for ten weeks.
