Oversee the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, monitoring and maintenance, and
troubleshooting of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
Active participation in the technical research and within the
infrastructure.
Ensure that the system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to
organizational values, thereby enabling staff, volunteers, and partners.
Spearhead the daily operational support and maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of the district physical
and virtual server, storage, network infrastructure, Windows Azure cloud service, Office365 with exchange online
plan, Telephone System, Avaya call center, connectivity between sites, Security tools logs.
Installation of new/rebuilding of existing servers, Racks and configuration of hardware, peripherals, services,
settings, directories, storage.
Steady provision of support to sites or users with effective troubleshooting of any issue thrown in the ticketing
system.
Fast resolution and report of issues from the system and detecting logs.
Suggest possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.
Proper coordination of the needs of in-house IT experts and remote employees, vendors and contractors.
Regular assessment of infrastructure to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
In charge of scheduling visits to other branches for healthy check and to ensure that the system is up to date.
Facilitate the testing of smart meeting room equipment is up “Data show, Video conference, and wireless
connectivity.
Work with IT manager in preparing the budget based on office needs.
Actively participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system:
update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review.
Effective maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of district network-based services: File and Print services,
Email, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS/WINS, and WSUS, updating Windows security patches.
Execute backup and restore data when necessary to ensure data availability at all times.
Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security Internal systems, cloud and network
infrastructure and applications.
Make use of Footprints ITSM Solution & HP Service Manager Application and web Application client to create
interaction and follow the assigned interactions to give updates on them.
Timely delivery service of hardware equipment to all retail sites over the UAE or outside.
Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, ERP, Virtualization technologies: VMware, and
Microsoft Hyper-V, Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and remote monitoring and
management of system alerts and notifications.
Resolve escalated support issues relating to Microsoft's core business solutions, WAN and LAN connectivity,
routers, firewalls, security, and remote access solutions.
Play a key role in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update
agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and perform periodic system review.
Collaborate with Sales Team for Engineering projects, identifying new products and solutions, and researching
solutions for existing clients.
Responsible for document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
Corporate communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them
of impending changes or agreed outages
Readily available to other Engineers to assist them in problem
