-Set up and launch the Logistics Department/ Function in the company.
-Develop the logistics strategy in alignment with the company’s overall strategy and objectives.
-Carry out continuous assessment of the capabilities and requirements of the supply chain model countrywide to identify gaps/ areas of improvement relating to Warehousing, Distribution, Purchasing, Supplier Relationship, Sales Order Processing, Customer Service, Manpower, and IT.
-Implement necessary changes/ improvements to the processes and capabilities to enhance efficiency and control cost.
-Develop and implement the expansion plan for the warehouses and distribution centres across the country in alignment with the sales forecast and market analysis.
-Manage the Department (Prepare and Manage the Budget, Manage and Control the Expenses, Manage the Manpower, the Fleet, and the 3PLs (Land/Sea Freight and Clearance).
-Develop and document the department’s policies and procedures and employees job description.
-Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and utilize them to monitor and control the various functions of the department.
-Prepare Monthly Management Reports on the department activities and performance.
-Utilizing the ERP system to achieve visibility and centralized control across all entities and functions.
