• Administer all export of goods and ensure compliance to all organizational policies and monitor all financial and shipping transactions and manage all communication with export authorities.
• To plan, design, develop and implement different export & distribution strategies and activities by researching customer's needs and requirements.
• To make sure that the existing customers are retained and maintained while developing new customers.
• Negotiate, close and implement new distributor agreements.
• To ensure that the all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, and within the given time scales.
• Monitor all existing and potential markets and assist to identify appropriate business opportunities and review all company products and develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• To take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the export process and activities.
• To constantly review distributor's performance and monitor their activities, so that relevant information and reports can be provided to top management.
• Monitor in-market sales, distributor stock levels and take necessary action to realize sales targets.
• Implementing marketing strategies and design required consumer promotions and maintain optimal level of consumer satisfaction.
• Preparing & attending national, regional & international exhibitions.
• Work with the International and local Brand Managers to ensure all marketing activities are in line with global brand strategy/positioning.
• Visiting customers in person & relevant markets periodically.
• Work with distributors on new product launch planning.
• Manages the budget process and support the management in the composition of the annual budget.
• Manages each country and distributor like a business unit.
• Assigns new distributors and/or selling new categories to the distributors to increase the company products penetration in part of MEA region starting from the strategic countries.
• Monitoring the loading plan of the company International on daily basis and providing the necessary data to be in details and to bring suggestions and take actions to maximize the shipments.
• Ensures of collecting the stock and sales reports from the distributors monthly in order to make a consolidated data which can be used as a library for the future to monitor the trends of the market.
• Apply commercial and information management techniques (e.g., Inventory management, ordering process, accounts receivable, etc.) to follow through and analyze results and take corrective action to maintain expected business results.
• Explores & defines indirect trade customer needs, relating them with shopper behaviors, and aligning the go-to-market strategy accordingly.
• Producing Proforma Invoices, Sales Offers & Contracts after negotiating all relative aspects with clients.
• Responsible for increasing all our clients' orders.
• Preparing monthly shipment lists and total production requirements.
• Following up order processes with all affiliated departments in order to meet Shipping dates.
• Communicating directly on a daily basis with Suppliers, Freight Forwarders, and Procurement specialists in order to ensure efficiency and a timely delivery for all Company Shipments.
• Following up with all Clearance Procedures regarding Shipments.
• Tracking all pertaining samples, orders and other related issues regarding my clients.
• Preparing reports for all international transactions in order to inform consignees of Impending arrivals.
• Advising clients on matters such as: tariffs, insurances and quotas.
• Preparing Letter of Credit documentations, such as; commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and bank drafts.
• Arranging logistics plan after consulting with top management monthly sales plan.
• Organize shipping documents as well as our shipping plan with the production, QC and warehousing departments.
• Planning monthly transport and ocean freight costs.
• Researching, surveying, and exploring potential global markets for mining commodities (Rock Phosphate, Iron Oxide, Clay, Kaolin, Talc, Magnesite & Quartz) in order to develop new business opportunities.
• Analyzing global market trends to identify potential markets & study the competitors and monitor their activities, in terms of prices, marketing and sales strategies.
• Finding, identifying, and approaching new overseas clients and buyers in these potential markets through using different market research methods to establish long-term business relationships with them.
• Negotiating and making detailed introductions about the company and its products and how the company’s products can appropriately serve to fulfill their needs.
• Preparing offers negotiating spot & long-term sales contracts with existing & new customers.
• Supervising all export activities (Documentation, Shipping, Clearance & Banking).
• Preparing sales & quota reports & presenting them to higher managerial levels.
• Manage and provide daily administrative office operation.
• Carry out all business correspondences with customers, internal departments & stakeholders.
• Entering order data through company’s software Maintaining filling system.
• Issuing proforma invoices and job orders.
• Follow up the orders with the factories and with the purchasing department.
• Follow up on customer's payments with the bank and with the financial department.
• Issuing the booking documents to be sent to the custom clearance department.
• Follow up marine insurance policy (if required).
• Preparing all required export documentation (Invoice, packing list, health certificate, Bill of lading, Certificate of origin, letter of credit (if required)) to be sent to the customers via bank or by courier regarding their methods of payments (Documentary Collection, Documentary Credit, Standby L/C).
• Creating and updating frequent sales and analysis reports.
• Issuing monthly/quarterly/yearly sales reports (by country-by client).
• Performs any other related duties that may be asked.
