Involved in the design and maintenance of both the hardware and software necessary for a computer network. The Network Engineer is a high-level technical analyst, specializing in Local Area Networks (LANs)/Wide Area Networks (WANs), TCP/IP, and server/network infrastructure.

The Network Engineer, As part of the MOH-Information Systems Departments ( Advanced Technology Center ) technical teams, working in the unified network team in the Sabah Heath Region supporting all hospitals, clinics and all sites following for Ministry Of Health in ( State Of Kuwait ). With the team, peers, and providers, the role is responsible for the delivery and operations of high-performance, high-availability networking solution. The Unified Communication Analysts role is to participate in the planning, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of the wide area and local area networks, WLAN, physical and network security, and Voice and Video infrastructures. This includes actively resolving escalated end user help requests within established SLAs, vendor management, proposing and performing changes to reduce incidents and stabilize the environment and documenting, training and contributing to process improvement. Providing technical and business personnel through staff supplementation and project engagements.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network issues across
core routing, switching, and transmission systems (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS). Provide expert
level support to minimize downtime and maintain optimal network performance.
• Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, ensuring secure access to
the network by enforcing authentication, authorization, and compliance policies for all
connected devices. Monitor and optimize NAC performance to prevent unauthorized access
and maintain network integrity.
• Design, implement, and optimize core network infrastructure, ensuring high availability,
scalability, and security across multi-vendor environments (Huawei, HP, Extreme, Aruba,
Cisco, Juniper). Lead initiatives for network architecture upgrades to support evolving business
and service demands.
• Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and best practices, including capacity
planning, network monitoring, and security hardening. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
support new services, network expansion, and ensure seamless integration.
• Responsible for the design, implementation and supervision of secure LAN, WAN, Internet
and communication resources and data center facilities.
• Support the Enterprise-class infrastructure, provide optimization, administration, and technical
documentation of all enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Additionally resolve and appropriately complete assigned cases and change requests while
acting as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues.
• Monitor and analyze network performance metrics, proactively identifying potential
bottlenecks or vulnerabilities, and implementing corrective actions to ensure continuous service
availability and optimal efficiency.
• Lead and participate in network migration and integration projects, including the deployment
of next-generation technologies such as SD-WAN, virtualization, and cloud-based networking
solutions to enhance network agility and scalability.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers and support teams,
conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to promote best practices and
maintain high operational standards.

# Network Environment: Networking professional level included configure all CISCO products using advanced command line or other brands of networks products, planning, designing, installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing systems standards ( ISO 9001:2008 - IT Policy ).
# Systems Management: Install & configure all Microsoft products to operate & managing the work environments as well, for example Windows Server 2012 R2 using any features compatible with work needs like Hyper-V, VMware, Virtual Box or any application’s equivalent providing us managing of systems, also using advanced feature like Active Directory to managing users.
# Low Voltage/Current: Operate & function using low current signal with extra low voltage such as: Audiovisual Systems, CCTV, Building Management System, Master Clock System, Access Control, Sound Systems, Security Systems, Data Networks, Telephone systems & UPS.
# Database & Programs Configurations: Install and configure the programs or application need to connect it with the database required, working with SAP, Primavera also other programs need to connect it with Oracle or SQL database.
# Technical Support: Providing technical support for end users to fix daily IT technical issues such as: Format, Install OS, Printers & Copier Machines Errors, ...etc.
