Responsibilities:
• Planning: Planning project on-site activities with Site Team including necessary local resources, equipment and milestones. Coordinating agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy.
• Site coordination and monitoring: Being responsible, from receiving the assigned site area from the Client or manager to handing over to the end customer on completion day, for coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Stakeholder relations: Serving as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations such as authorities, banks, and suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.
• Health, safety and environment (HSE) and project security: Ensuring detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the H&S plan. Ensuring all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety.
• Material handling: Ensuring correct handling, storage and installation equipment, coordinating on-site storage as well as shipment logistics to secure timely site delivery of equipment and material.
• Sub-contractors: Managing the sub-contractors on site to ensure necessary quality and progress achieved to meet delivery date.
• Site cost management: Controlling project cost for the project site work, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final cost for the same. Managing the petty cash and has delegated authority for local purchasing within agreed limits.
• Documentation: Ensuring all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling system is maintained, and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
• Experience in Quoting RFQ/Tenders for RAECO/DPC/MAZAN/MAZOON/Municipality/SEZAD
• Coordinate project resources and project activities across all areas to meet project requirements
• Day-to-day management of project on behalf of Manager
• Resolve engineering and project problems and issues, and take necessary actions, keeping Project Management Team informed.
• Prepare progress and routine reports and submit on time
• Monitor project to ensure that work scope, schedule and standards are meeting project requirements
• Ensure project deliverables meet required standards and timelines
• Review routine reports, initiate appropriate actions, and ensure actions are completed in the correct timeframe
• Ensure that all the MEP work is implemented as per the approved shop drawings, project specifications, and local and applicable regulations.
• Review MEP subcontractor’s progress, work quality, and payments.
• Review MEP Suppliers material submittals and prequalification.
• Prepare material delivery schedule and estimate the required manpower for full project span.
• Interact with all project team, Civil QA/QC, Project Planer, and procurement.
• Initiate MAS, IRs, close NCRs, and reply to all letters and emails from consultant related to MEP.
• Prepare and follow up site progress report and work schedule.
• Monitor the deviation between the approved project schedules and site condition.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Testing of DB, SMDB, MDB, FP using Megger, Earth Tester, Clamp meter, Phase Sequence, Lamp test
