Working within the Global Valuation Group for the Valuation Control unit which has primary responsibility for independently reviewing the pricing of Global Credit Trading (like Corporate Bonds, Single name CDS contracts & Index CDS & Loans.).
Performing a supervisory role for Asia Pacific Credit business under valuation team in Mumbai.
Member of the Change the Bank (CTB) team, to obtain efficiencies & Optimization to the existing roles under Credit business.
Had been a part of the process migration from DB onshore for GCT Bonds/CDS Month-end (APAC region), and was under constant training for 3 months.
Identifying all stale desk curves and escalating all large variances that break the tolerance to GVG London including commentary.
Creating a Bond report for ECT business area for a high level overview of the variances, identifying all stale desk bond prices and escalating all large variances that break the tolerance to GVG London including commentary.
Additionally all new trades (both CDS & bond) are tested against the IPV and desk prices to ensure that both of these are a true reflection of the market.
A mappings table between Mark IT and DB is also updated to improve information flow between the two companies.
