• Piping for HP&LP systems with respect to Plot Plan, PMS, P&ID, Line List, equipment drawings, structural drawings, support feasibility, slope, drip-leg requirements and providing related drawings along with TP’s to client&vendors.
• Basic support engineering- Design, selection, qualification, 3-D modeling and support sketch preparation along with typical for Critical, HP and LP systems.
• Preparing Loading Data and handing it over to Civil for further Engineering.
• Extraction and checking of Piping Design Documents such as Isometrics, Piping BOQ, Support BOQ, Line List, Support List and PAD’s.
• Co-ordinating and conducting 3-D review meetings with various disciplines.
• Attending review meetings and resolving issues with clients and other vendors in areas such as TG-Building.
• Reviewing and resolving piping & support related clashes with various departments using IFC and review software.
• Vendor drawing review of MOV’s, PHE’s and SCF’s from piping point of view
Preparation of piping GAD
•Basic piping study and routing as per P & ID using SP3D.
•Preparation of Piping Layout for Distillation service, Process lines, Fire Fighting System.
•Studying isometric drawings along with GA drawings, identifying areas of front available according to structural clearance, accessibility etc and plan the erection job accordingly.
•Modelling of equipment, Piping and supports for different areas like Distillation Building and Utility Building in SP3D.
•Providing tie-in point co-ordinates to the pipeline department.
•Interacting with Site Engineers for queries related to design and explaining the same to the clients.
•Preparation of detailed drawings and BOM for the pipe supports.
•Checking Vendor Drawings & Nozzle Orientation Drawing
CHTU (Heavy Coker gas oil hydro treating unit), ONGC-MRPL.
Client/PMC : EIL
End User : ONGC-MRPL, Mangaluru.
Responsibilities :
•Inspection of fit-up & welding.
•Preparation of LHS (Line history sheet).
•Co-ordination and taking approval from third party inspector relating hydro tests.
•Interpretations of dye penetrate test and radiography.
•Monitoring activities like fit up, welding, RT, PWHT, DPT, PMI and UT.
•NDT clearance of test packs, preparation and witness of hydro test.
•Inspection of welding and other consumable verification and testing.
•Erection of static and rotary equipment’s.
•Coordinating inspection with CLIENT (ONGC-MRPL) & PMC (EIL).
•Co-ordination with third-party inspector after equipment erection.
•Co-ordination with vendor’s regarding equipment issues and design queries.
