• Manage the subscription of electronic resources by initiating product trials, license review, selection, and acquisition of electronic resources while fostering a good vendor relationship.
• Guarantee optimal and reliable access to electronic resources using EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS).
• Determine permissible use parameters and make necessary recommendations on license acceptance.
• Perform access maintenance and troubleshooting duties for the library’s electronic resources as needed.
• Assist the Dean of Library Affairs in acquiring licensed content through the Saudi Digital Library (SDL).
• Gather and analyze data usage from local, SDL-wide, and vendor/publisher sources while generating reports to support the purchase and renewal decisions.
• Manage the library website’s “E-Resources” section for the timely update of the latest resources.
• Maintain EZproxy effectively to authorize and maintain access to electronic resources from off-campus.
• Exploit emerging trends, technologies and best practices in electronic resources management to further improve library services.
• Support faculty, students, staff and other users on a one-on-one basis to address specific information requests, offer research assistance and guidance for easy access to a broad range of information resources available in the library.
• Engage in professional activities including university and library committees and task forces, and regularly attend professional meetings.
• Supervised the verification, ordering, and receipt of periodicals and journals, and managed library budget for periodicals.
• Managed subscr4iptions and access to resources in all formats including databases, electronic journals, and print journals.
• Conducted information literacy sessions for faculty and students for easy accessibility to available resources in the library.
• Monitored trends in e-resource management, analyze tools and workflows, explore new models and recommended changes to existing tools and workflows as suitable.
• Managed different social networking tools for library services such as Facebook, Blog, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Flicker, etc.
• Provided real-time help to users by making available virtual reference services using Instant Messaging (IM).
• Executed technical Processing of new library materials both print and electronic utilizing the latest tools in the industry.
• Maintained and upgraded Authority Records, Romanization and Transliteration of oriental languages including Arabic, Urdu, and Persian.

As internee I worked in all the sections of the library and gained knowledge of the working in every department of the library such as Acquisition, Electronic Section, Circulation & Teaching Resource Section, Reference Section, Serials Section etc.
During study got an opportunity to work on automation project at Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of the Punjab, Pakistan. I have completed the library automation project in order to provide better services to the library users. Involve in technical processing of books library material with the (cataloguing Classification and assigning subject headings) and other with the help of library tools DDC, AACR 2, Sear’s List of Subject Heading etc.
