Supporting to the Group of companies related to the Oracle ERP application. Trouble shooting with the user issues. Raising the Tars and coordinating with oracle. Evaluating new products.
· System Co-Ordinator - IT, Al Ghurair Group Masafi, since January 1999. Working as functional consultant for Oracle ERP Application 11i, Assistant for DBA & Developer, support the entire Group based at Dubai. Masafi is a group of 3 companies. Masafi has 3 lines of businesses (Water, Tissue, and Juice). The operations and group companies are present in over 7 locations all over the UAE and supplying to all over the world. I am responsible for developing and implementing long term IT strategy for all the businesses. Currently managing IT Infrastructure and Business Application Setup of entire Masafi Group.
· Supporting all the end users related to the oracle application issue, analyzing the problems studying in depth to know the cause of the problem. Raising the iTar and coordinating with Oracle to resolve the issues. Supporting the Finance team during the year-end and month end process. Uploading the sales data from ERP system to OLAP (MIS system). Trouble shooting with desktops. Performing the Daily backups for Oracle Applications using the Veritas backup Exec software for backup. Patch application for Oracle Applications bugs. Hand Held Device troubleshooting. DBA Activity like adding the data files purging the requests. Running the gather schema etc.
