- Leading Technical Services under US-Bangla Airlines CAMO and ensuring all Technical Services Engineers receive required training to achieve competency according to job specification.
- Working as Safety Action Group (SAG) member for CAMO and actively involved in US-Bangla Airlines IOSA approval process.
- Ensuring all applicable Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins are evaluated by TSEs for incorporation across the fleet in timely manner.
- Ensuring reliability centred Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) based on Part-M guidelines and industry standards.
- Ensuring AMP task intervals are optimized based on reliability program and necessary amendments made to the AMP following major alterations.
- Maintaining close coordination with OEMs, STC holders and Part-21 DOA on commercial terms and cost efficient retrofits to meet operational requirements.
- Ensuring aircraft structural damages are properly assessed and TCH receives accurate information to develop repair scheme beyond the scope of SRM.
- Reviewing lease agreements, analysis of maintenance reserve reimbursement, compliance check of local regulations as part of aircraft acquisition process.
- Powerplant management though on-wing health monitoring of engines and APUs, workscoping for engines during shop visit to achieve target build goal as well as lessor criteria as qualifying shop event and maintaining close coordination with engine shop to minimize turnaround time.
- Coordination with flight operations department regarding fleet planning based on aircraft and engine performance.
- Administering technical publications to ensure timely distribution of aircraft manuals to all stakeholders.
- Assisting concerned CAMO team to review contracts with MROs, making comparison and proposing management in MRO selection based on portfolio and benefit for the company.
- Facing audits from both internal and external agencies and working towards closure of the findings as well as process improvement.
- Generating quarterly fleet reliability reports and presentation during fleet reliability meeting.
- Evaluating all applicable Airworthiness directives and ordering parts for incorporation within the deadline.
- Preparing Aircraft Maintenance Program based on TCH MPD/MRB and national requirements.
- Evaluating Instructions for Continued Airworthiness document following modifications and repairs and insertion into the AMP.
- Preparation of customized MEL in close coordination with flight operations, quality assurance and maintenance engineer.
- Monitoring ECTM report and undertake necessary actions in the event of engine performance deterioration.
- Recording and updating aircraft utilization, AMP LDND, hard time, LLP and OCCM component status following completion of tasks.
- Maintaining and updating aircraft and engine log books as per regulation.
- Ordering expendables and spares for scheduled maintenance checks. Issuing work order for scheduled maintenance as per maintenance program and track completion of works.
- Preparation of workpackage for 'A' checks, 'C' checks and other heavy maintenance.
- Periodic forecasting of hard time components, heavy checks as well as scheduled removal of engine, APU and landing gears.
- Ensuring records are up to date with current aircraft configuration and maintenance status.
- Liaising with MROs while aircraft is sent for heavy checks to minimize aircraft downtime.
