Preparation of the estimates for construction/ rehabilitation of Grid stations i.e. work of Power Transformer Augmentation, Construction of Power Transformer Bays, Construction of Line Bays, Reconductoring and construction of new Transmission lines.
•Site visits to check the quality and progress of the ongoing works

Also working on the post of

Preparation of Technical estimate and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for the newly proposed Transmission lines (132KV) projects.
•Look after the quality and precision of Foundation Work of ZM, ED and EG type Towers.
•Handle the new project of Erection of Towers and Stringing work.
•Monitor the work of replacement of Single Circuit tower with Double Circuit Tower.
•Monitor the different projects of Transmission Line such as In & Out arrangement of circuits from Grid-stations, replacement of Old Towers, Ground level clearance projects etc.
•Attending the Break downs of Transmission line on emergency basis.
•Preparation the case of Demand of Material for the projects.
•Preparation and arrangement of Shut downs required for the completion of projects.
•Settlement of disputes with people to eliminate the hurdles in the completion of Projects and preparation of Crop compensation cases against the projects

Grid System Operation (GSO) Training Center, Tarbella, Pakistan

Preparation of list of ELR (Energy Loss Reduction) & STG (Secondary Transmission Grid) material to be be procured as per demand of GSO (Grid System Operation) department and Operation circle department.
•Preparation of Bidding documents and IFBs (Invitation For Bids) for purchase of material under World Bank Loan, Asian Development Bank Loan and MEPCO’s own resources.
•Perusal of Bid Evaluation Report of World Bank (W.B) & Asian Development Bank (ADB) tenders with MEPCO’s consultants and their further proceeding to W.B & ADB.
•Evaluation of bids for procurement under MEPCO’s own resources, World Bank (W.B) and Asian Development Bank funded projects.
•Obtaining NOC (No Objection Certificate) from WB/ADB for issuance of NOA (Notification of Award) after fulfilling the requirements.
•Preparation of NOA and Contract Agreement/Purchase orders.
•Follow up Letter Of Credit (L/C) and inspection to make the delivery of consignment well in time.
•Settlement of disputes with different suppliers according to the departmental procedures and terms & conditions mentioned in contract agreement/purchase orders.
•Inspection of material within Pakistan and Foreign countries.
•Resolving the issues/ disputes during the contract management.
•Contract management is the sole responsibility.
•Evaluation of Bids to select lowest responsive bidder.
•Work on SAP software for the procurement and Supply & Chain management.
•Allocation of material on the demand of different organizations after thorough checking and keeping in view the priority of available balance material

Involved in Technical study for the Bifurcation of 11KV feeders (HT Feeders), Rehabilitation and Reconductoring of 11KV feeders.
•Preparation and recommendation of Augmentation cases of Distribution Transformers after technical study.
•Locate the suitable position for HT Capacitors to improve the power factor.
•Generation of LT (Low Tension) proposals.
•Preparation of drawings/sketches of HT and LT proposals by site visit.
•BC ratio (Benefit to Cost Ratio) study for HT and LT proposals on FDRANA (Feeder Analysis) software.
•Preparation of estimated cost of proposals.
•Getting technical and financial approval from competent authority for the proposals

Maintenance and Trouble shooting of 07 Nos Grid-stations and 132KV & 66KV Transmission line.
•Identification and Rectification of faults occurred in switch yard, 11KV Incoming and Outgoing Panels.
•Annual, Bi-annual and routine maintenance of Power Transformers, 132KV Circuit Breakers, 11KV Outgoing and Incoming panels.
•Routine maintenance and fault rectification of Transmission Lines.
•Identification and Rectification of faults in Power Cables and Control cables.
•Attend the Break down of Transmission lines.
•Attend and rectify the faults on 132KV & 11KV switch-yard

Operation & Maintenance of combined cycle Power Plant and 132KV Switch yard.
