including Moxy Piccadilly Circus (£40m refurbishment, completed 2025) and Haymarket Hotel (£50m refurbishment,
2025-current).
• Operated under JCT Design & Build (D&B) contract arrangements, whereby Criterion Capital retained design
responsibility while works were contracted out to a main contractor, ensuring documentation, reporting and
governance remained aligned with contractual obligations throughout.
• Took ownership of end-to-end site processes, from RAMS/permit approval to defect close-out, ensuring governance
and CDM compliance were adhered to throughout.
• Administered project document control systems (Procore, Excel and SharePoint) covering daily logs, inspections, RFIs
and progress evidence, improving reporting accuracy by 20%.
• Used ProcurePro to manage procurement processes, including order placing, supplier approvals and purchase
documentation, ensuring governance was adhered to throughout.
• Developed and maintained working relationships with key stakeholders — Project/Design teams, Architects, MEP
Engineers, Commercial/QS and Finance — to align progress, technical and commercial requirements.
• Produced regular reports for senior management on programme, risk and quality status, escalating constraints and
tracking actions to closure through a live risk and issue log.
• Coordinated subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries, identifying problem areas and agreeing corrective actions with
stakeholders to reduce clashes and downtime.
• Reported operational issues, including resourcing, access and logistics constraints, to relevant departments to support
timely resolution.
• Supervised direct labour teams, allocating tasks and resources to improve on-site productivity by 15%.
• Supported asset handover from construction to operations, coordinating readiness activities, snagging close-out and
documentation for mobilisation.

During my time on site, I had the opportunity to actively participate on the construction project, gaining practical hands-on experience in areas such as project planning, site management, and quality control. Working alongside experienced professionals, I strengthened my skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. This placement has provided me with a solid foundation in the construction industry and has deepened my passion for pursuing a career in this dynamic field.
