Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for
all deliverables involved in the assigned scope
• Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability
• Preparation of List of Technical Queries for Consultant clarification
Project: - Abraj Quarter, Pearl Qatar.
The 5-star complex which will include beach front 10 villas, 2 townhouses,
and four identical 40-story residential towers on landscape podiums with basement parking.
Systems: - Installation on HVAC services like District Cooling System AHU,
FCUs (Ducted type), exhaust fan, split AC units, Chilled water Pipes. Installation of Fire Fighting system, & Drainage System.
Short Description:
• Handling HVAC works at site.
• Quantity takeoff of all the HVAC works.
• Handling Manpower and assignment of job.
• Co-ordination with Main-Contractor for smooth site execution.
• Preparation and submission of Material submittals and Method of statement
• Attending Site meetings concerning the work progress.
• Preparation of weekly progress report.
• Rising of RFI’s if it requires.
• Attending with the Consultant for Inspections.
• Assisting Testing & Commissioning.
• Attending the safety site walks and meetings with consultant and clients.
• Had worked on operation and installation of Air Handling Unit & Fan Coil Units
• for HVAC system.
• Performing the heat load calculations in HAP, following the ASHRAE standards
• Selection of Chiller, AHU’s, Exhaust fans, VAV’s, Control valves and Getting the approval from consultant.
• Duct designing and sizing using SMACNA standards.
• Layout drawing (showing Pipe routing,
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviewing the design/shop drawing.
• Always following the updated / revised drawing and submitting the
variation report to the contracts dept.
• Ordering the Required material as per Specifications.
• Coordinating with other trades civil, electrical, electronics, and finishing to
• avoid repetitive work.
• Preparing weekly report and submitting to the Project manager and
• highlighting the Problems affecting the Progress on site.
• Ordering long lead items in advance to meet the schedule.
• Attending site meeting with other trades and taking actions for the requested
• items f or mechanical works.
• Preparing back charges for the damage and submitting it to the Project
• To prepare Man hours estimation for project.
• To allocate task to team members
• To attend meetings and close co-ordination with Clients / Consultants for inputs /
• requirements, design review & approvals, Value Engineering workshop and to get updates
• of project status and further action.
Systems: - Installation on HVAC services like Air Cooled Chiller, AHU,

related documents for coordinating with project engineers and architects. Presented alternative
designs to engineering staff and clients.
• Layout drawing (showing Pipe routing, isolation valves & Hydrant Valves) and Hydraulic
calculations for Hydrant systems.
• GA, Isometric drawings and Hydraulic calculations for Spray system (HVWS and MVWS
systems).
• Preparation of Fire Extinguishers Chart
