o Prepare and submit weekly report showing the
secured Business, Closed & Lost Business to the
Operation Manager.
o Prepare and follow up complete broking
submissions for the proposed client to the
insurance companies and ensure receipt of
submissions.
o Study and prepare comparison sheet for the
quotations received.
o Prepare in advance the monthly renewal list of
polices 40 days prior to its expiry date.
o Provide Operation Manager monthly report of
all attracted and Renewed Businesses.
o Communicate with Insurance Companies,
discuss and follow up with Sales Personnel &
Clients on Quotation submitted to clients..
o Verify, check and ensure that all Terms &
Conditions which agreed by the client is
mentioned in the Quotation and mirrored in the
issued policy.
o Ensure that no policies to be renewed unless
premium is collected as agreed.
o Maintaining a proper filing of all pertaining
documents according to SAMA. regulations.
o Produce on monthly basis comprehensive
production report.
- My duties include monitoring all the technical
underwriting and claims policy and procedure
issues in addition to the administrative duties.
- To set up, follow up and report on the objectives of
attracting new business, ensure the Clients
satisfaction of insurance services required for the
existing business.
- Review the achievement of marketing and business
development strategy & plans in which I have to
support the Marketing and business development
team members in their responsibility and main role
of understanding the client's insurance needs.
- Representing the Company to attract, produce a
new business by introducing our services to the
clients in a professional and transparent manner
and initiate the relation with the clients in line with
SAMA requirements by obtaining an official
assignment letter from the client i.e. Broker of
Record “BOR”.
• Technically I am in charge of U/W. and partly Claims
Department. (Motor / Marine / Fire / Engineering/
Miscellaneous Accident), handling al the
correspondence, quotation and process of the
underwriting and claims English and Arabic of
medical insurance and all other types of insurance
including Coinsurance, Facultative Reinsurance
matters (placement, acceptance) in addition to
administrative duties of the Dept.
• To handle all the correspondence & process of the
underwriting & Claims, in Arabic, all classes,
(quotations, discussions and negotiations of all
aspects).
• To supervise and train the Saudi staff on all
Insurance Sections.
My obligation contain handling all the technical aspects of Insurance and Reinsurance (Underwriting & Claims).
To negotiate and renew the Reinsurance treaties at UK. with the treaty leader and discuss and settle some pending claims recoveries (Marine, Fire, Motor).
The nature of my duties at that period was marketing, to verify and advise on suitable Insurance underwriting covers, to follow up the claims recoveries for all SIB. Branches in addition to other Bank operations & activities "Cash in Transit, Safes, L/C's. & Investment operations".
My duties involved Risks assessment, U/W, Claims Settlement, Carrying Pre- Risk & Loss Survey and other related duties (Statistics U/W, Claims).
The nature of my duties at that period was marketing, to advise on suitable Insurance underwriting covers, to follow up the claims recoveries for all SIB. Branches in addition to other Bank operations & activities "Cash in Transit, Safes, L/C's. & Investment operations" in addition to that to prepare for establishing a subsidiary
insurance company i.e. Assalama Insurance Company.
In April 1983 I joined the Middle East Insurance Co. Sudan.
• I spent the first year doing all kinds of Insurance business as the company was newly established and had a British insurance expert as technical Manager Mr. J. A. Nicklen and then come after Mr. Martin Wright ".
• 1984- I was transferred to the Motor Insurance Dept. as a Head of the Dept.
• 1985- Head of Marine Insurance Dept.
• The nature of the job was: -
Underwriting, Conducting Pre-risk Survey, Settling claims, scrutiny & adjusting the R/I. treaties accounts along with other administrative duties.
