Promoted to take on overall responsibility for Corporate HR as well as HR Business Partners in 3 Strategic Business Units, alongside leadership of 5 Senior Managers with a total of 16 subordinates. Report directly to the CEO.
Achievements:
Directed organisational restructure launching two business-units January 2017, phase one and a further two in January 2018, phase two and the end of the process.
Restructuring and business unit launches have yielded improvements of 11% and 28% in top line and bottom line performance as at end of 2017 in the two newly created business units.
Secured Board Director approval for 1.2 M SAR Capex to implement the SAP SuccessFactors HR & Talent Management System, producing a 0.8M SAR P$L saving on running costs.
Automated all HR services improving data quality and reporting times. This also provided the senior executive team with a talent dashboard that enabled more informed decision making.
Successfully implemented the first phase of the SAP SuccessFactors HR & Talent Management System project in 2017. Completed in less than 5 months, launching five modules simultaneously.
Drafted detailed HR policies and procedures along with its delegation of authority in conjunction with Ernst & Young, securing both Risk & Audit Committee and Board approval.
Launched the company’s new Performance Management System (PMS) in Q4 2017. Also, redesigned the bonus scheme and merit increase policies.
Selected to lead on this change management project designed to significantly improve organisational performance across all business units. Reported into the CEO providing regular progress updates on HR and business strategy alignment, implementation and minimisation of operational disruption.
Achievements:
Developed the High Performance Organisation 5-year plan, competency frameworks, and in-house training academy to build up the necessary senior leadership competencies to accomplish the HPO 5-year plan.
Designed the company’s first standardised Performance Management System (PMS).
Moderated the senior executive team workshop assessing the current organisational design, resulting in the decision to transform the company by moving from a functional to a business-unit design.
Recruited by a former manager who had joined the organisation with focus a on improving talent attraction, employer branding and personnel performance.
Achievements:
Built the organisational grading structure, pay-scale, and HR policies.
Led the implementation of HR modules in SAP ERP system.
Introduced women into the manufacturing line winning the support of the General Manager after initial resistance.
Replaced 600 employees through a combination of making subcontractors employees, recruiting women and sourcing more local candidates resulting in legal compliance with Ministry of Labour regulations.
Attained HR Director and CEO support to change department from a personnel/administration function to a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) led service aimed at providing full value from organisational development programmes and initiatives.
Introduced job rotations, cross functional learning programmes and a sales curriculum from entry level to senior management. Commended by Head of Sales for contributing to an improvement in overall sales performance.
