Study the over all scope of work pertaining to civil and building services in high voltage substations.
Coordination with the engineering department during substation layout process to freeze the building services and external services corridor.
Finalize the master list of civil and building services drawings with designers/subcontractors/client.
Collect the civil and building services design input information, drawings, loading data from electrical design section and forward to civil and building services designers/subcontractors.
Review the conceptual drawings with electrical, civil and building services designer/subcontractor for proper coordination to avoid clashes during construction stage.
Design Co-ordination, Planning of site activities, Establishing Design Parameters & Criteria.
Provide the design and engineering input to site staff, in order to facilitate smooth construction.
Oversee the civil construction and building services installation works periodically on sites against agreed programs.
Arrange ‘Red-Marked’ drawings from site and ‘As-Built’ drawings from designer/sub-contractor.
Participate in the selection process for nominations of the civil works subcontractors.
Arrange the soil investigation report timely from soil investigation agency for design purpose.
Review the material submittal in line with specifications before submitting to Owner Engineer for approval.
Liaise with Owner Engineer for timely approval of material/drawings submittal.
Arrange monthly payment certificates from client for civil and building services.
Conduct site meetings with civil site manager and subcontractor(s) to review the construction methods to expedite the progress
Study of existing system, planning and design for necessary modifications according to Saudi ARAMCO requirements.
Site Survey and preparation of Feasibility Study Report for the Client review and approval.
Preparation of Conceptual Drawings, Scope of Work (SOW) and Project Technical Specifications for the project.
